I grew up in a medical family and topics around the dinner table often had to do with things people outside the medical community might find a bit gross. An amputated limb here, a pregnant woman that wasn’t hygienic before finding herself in a delivery room there…maybe something about a boil or sexually transmitted disease waaaay over there…the topics ran the health and wellness gamut.

As I grew up, those topics eventually encompassed issues of debate within the medical community itself and became, shall we say, much more refined. Dinner table discussions soon broached the subjects of alternative medicine vs. Western medicine.

My aunt is a pediatrician, and my mother was a nurse (now a professor with a doctorate in nursing education) and they both encouraged us to examine natural ways of healthy living. They had discussions revolving around conventional, Western medicine versus what was considered then to be wild, risky and controversial holistic healing methods.

I was often party to those conversations and though I decided on a career path as an artist and rejected a profession in medicine, the observations that have continued to be made around the family dinner table have had an effect on me.

Who doesn’t want to be more in control of their health and to know exactly what the medications they’ve been prescribed are doing to their bodies? Becoming informed therefore, is essential.

With modern medicine filled with examples of drugs that have harmed or killed the patients they were intended to help… the “accepted” medical community continues to look down on alternative, natural supplements that may have the same benefits as the prescription drug…but with little to no side effects.

It doesn’t seem to me that there is any question that the roots of controversy between alternative and Western medicine go back thousands of years. That argument which started off as largely philosophical in nature has carried on up until the present day. Now, one of the largest issues proponents of Western medicine bring against their alternative medicine counterparts in general (and herbal or botanical medicine specifically) has to do with what medical pundits decry as alternative medicine’s significant lack of documented, double blind clinical studies.

For those that don’t know, “a double blind study is a clinical trial design in which neither the participating individuals nor the study staff knows which participants are receiving the experimental drug and which are receiving a placebo (or another therapy). Double-blind trials are thought to produce objective results, since the expectations of the doctor and the participant about the experimental drug do not affect the outcome; also called double-masked study.” (“Glossary.” Clinicaltrials.gov. In 2011, with over 15,298 scientific papers published on just 5 herbs and trace elements, there is plenty of substantiated, scientific evidence in favor of alternative medicine’s claims. Unfortunately, without the funding to conduct the FDA mandated double blind clinical studies, alternative medicines are unable to compete with FDA approved pharmaceuticals. Much of this has to do with antiquated, U.S. patent laws. I’ll get into that issue next time when I also want to take a look at comparative side effects of conventional medicines versus alternative supplements.

It's a Day of Rage!

Well, I think there should rightly be protests against the use of violent force by police officers during the Gilad Farm incident. Firing paint balls, or rubber bullets against Jews is wrong. This is especially true when considering the fact that the “Settlers” were unarmed! The police were under no threat to life or limb.

Itchy trigger fingers boys? Don't like these guys in kippot telling you that you don't have a right to tear down their homes?

Something's wrong here. Something's really wrong when Jews are shooting other Jews with sadistic glee. In one video, it looks like two policemen do the macho, “fist and elbow bump” in celebration of shooting someone. If true, it's just disgusting. There's nothing glorious, successful, or cool about hurting someone else just because you can. It's disturbing to see people of any stripe behave like they're doing something awesome at a rock concert, saying the equivalent of “rock on dude!” when what they've done is dishonorable.

Shame on the cops. Seems to be a worldwide trend though. In the U.S. There are many complaints of police brutality, and policemen behaving like thugs rather than upstanding citizens one should be able to trust.

With that said, let's go back to the “Day of Rage”. I was in Jaffa yesterday for a meeting. Something like 50 far right protestors marched down the street protesting the “Islamic Movement's Efforts to take over the city.” This is connected to the “Day of Rage” in that the settlers have been conducting “price tag” operations which target Arab property for destruction or vandalism. (Although the march in Jaffa was relatively peaceful.)

Once again, I can't begin to describe how stupid this idea is. “We're angry at the Israeli government, so we're going to hurt Arab property!”

I am baffled at how this helps the settler cause. You know, I can agree with protesting. I can agree with taking a stand, and showing the government that one can only be pushed so far. But surely this can be done without violence.

Don't these people understand that in Middle Eastern politics, it's the victim that gets sympathy? Don't they know that in the world of public relations, people surge to the side of the underdog? But if the underdog is busy beating other people up...when those people are not even the ones giving the orders the underdog hates so much...then the people on the outside looking in are going have a very dim view of the underdog.

So when the underdog gets kicked around, and abused, no one is going to care. The underdog has taken itself out of the “victim” mode and into the “aggressor” mode. These people need to understand that even victims can take a stand...and they can remain victims, as long as they're not physically lashing out at those around them.

Israel in general has always been really bad at PR. The Settlers in general are a million times worse.

What's the solution then? Hasn't it always been said that the pen is mightier than the sword? I've got some advice for the Settler movement.

Get some smart, and marketing savvy folks on your side, and start bringing people to your point of view. Otherwise, sit down and shut up before you get yourselves and others really hurt.

Clinton Warns of Iranian Efforts to fill ME Vacuum

Well, although I am no Democrat, I gotta say I wish that Democrats had elected Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama. The woman's brains are ten million times what the lackluster Obama's are.

With the upheaval of Arab Muslim regimes all over the Middle East, Mrs. Clinton has some smart things to say.

“There’s no doubt in my mind if we are not present, and present in resources, not just in rhetoric, not just saying what we’re for but being able to deliver on that, others will fill that vacuum,” - Hillary Clinton

“We are in a competition. I just stress over and over again, we’ve got to be there. We’ve got to fight back.” - Hillary Clinton

The above quotes were taken from her testimony before the US House Foreign Affairs Committee.

While I applaud the Republican desire to cut spending...they're wanting to cut a lot of that from foreign aid. This is where I somewhat disagree with them. This is also where I disagree with Hillary. Yes, the U.S. should be there for those it wants to be its allies. Yes, it should be there in resources and not just rhetoric.

However, if that aid comes in the form of money...the U.S. Needs to be assured that the money is going specifically and genuinely for the things that are going to advance pro-Western goals. If that cannot be assured, then the foreign aid should be delayed or cut off completely until those things can be assured.

The Republicans could focus their desire to cut spending on domestic programs that are threatening the fabric of American society if they really want to cut spending. Democrats should figure out which things are more important to them...progressive agenda at home...or progressive agenda abroad. They can't fight a cultural war on two fronts. They're running out of money to do so.

Choose one or the other, and let the Republicans be happy with cutting some spending somewhere.

Going back to Mrs. Clinton's testimony before the US House Foreign Affairs Committee, she “also indicated that the US was trying to take the initiative in ensuring that the implementation of more democratic governments would not be exploited by groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.” As to whether the Muslim Brotherhood could abide by democratic institutions, she said, “the jury is out.”

I disagree here. The jury is not out. Mrs. Clinton knows full well that the Muslim Brotherhood (often simply الإخوان Al-Ikhwān,The Brotherhood or MB ) is still looking to install an Islamic Republic style government in Egypt. No truly Islamic government, where the goals pushed by groups like the Muslim Brotherhood are implemented has ever been truly democratic.

The stated goals of the Muslim Brotherhood are: “to instill the Qur'an and Sunnah as the "sole reference point for ... ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community... and state"

Someone please point out to me a completely democratic nation where these principles are in effect. I bet you can't do it.

Statements like this coming from Mrs. Clinton can be excused when one knows who her friends in the Middle East have been. On the other hand, she comes across as strong, at least in comparison to her Commander – in – Chief, with regards to supporting pro-Western forces in Iran. She was quoted as saying:

“We have to go chapter and verse about everything that Iran is doing that abuses the rights of their own people and exposes their hypocrisy as they try to somehow identify with the legitimate aspirations for democracy and human rights in this region.”

Unfortunately, she tried to give her boss a graceful way out of his lack of a strong stance by saying that in the past, the administration had “modulated” its message because Iran would “basically paint anybody who opposed them as American stooges.”

At least Mrs. Clinton has some guts to say what she truly thinks from time to time. At least, Mrs. Clinton takes a clear stand on issues...and whether one agrees or disagrees, she doesn't come across as a wimpy, uninspired, morally downtrodden person with no backbone who apologizes for anything and everything America is or does.

I would not have wished for a Hillary Clinton administration. I wouldn't. But I would have given a lot to see this woman who is comparatively brilliant... versus the Schmuck sitting there now...in the Oval Office.

Gilad Farm Stupidity

It seems to me that the issue of the Gilad Farm (built on land owned by Moshe Zar, a longtime friend of Ariel Sharon) in the so-called West Bank, is first of all...none of the U.S.'s business since it happens to be on privately owned land bought and paid for by the Zar family.

Secondly, the order to dismantle the “illegal” settlement of the Gilad Farm (which again, is on privately owned land) seems to me to be just as “illegal”. Ehud Barak has made a huge fuss over the “rule of law” and the fact that the “settlers” are upset because their homes are being dismantled and are showing a bit of a backbone in standing up to the “legally appointed authorities” who came to dismantle their homes.

I can tell you one thing. If this were Texas, those cops wouldn't stand a chance. If you come onto someone's private property without permission, you could get shot there...and to hell with whether those coming onto the property are from the government or not.

Thankfully, this isn't Texas. However, Ehud Barak and other left wing radicals should stop and think about what it might be like to have their homes...which they bought and paid for...on their own private land...torn down by properly appointed legal authorities because those homes just don't fit in with a foreign power's ideas about peace in their neck of the woods.

It's high time Israel found a way to get itself out of the grip of America. A large part of this could be done by no longer taking foreign aid from the U.S. If Israel no longer owed money, then it could probably stop acting like America's lapdog... “Yes sir, no sir...can you please just stand up for us one more time at the U.N. Sir?”

This would lessen the pressure Israel feels to kowtow to the U.S. State department.

While there is no doubt that it would be great to keep America as a close ally...that's the key word. Ally. Not a subservient...semi – U.S. State or protectorate that must do whatever D.C. Demands.

Regardless of what America says, the issue of the Gilad Farm is an internal Israeli matter. The left wing needs to be put in check. Their deep disdain for those who believe the Land of Israel belongs to Jews based on Biblical beliefs is leading them to behave in ways that are just not right. Isn't the left supposed to be about tolerance?

Despite the fact that I personally agree to a large extent that the uber religious also should have their power curtailed...(Mea Shearim anyone?)...there is no excuse for firing anything...whether paint balls, or rubber bullets, at other Jews. Period.

As for the religious Zionists of Gilad Farm, you my dear folks, are not helping your case by going on an overnight rampage and bashing Palestinian's windshields as “retaliation” for what the Israeli government has ordered. That's just flat out stupid, and you are hurting yourselves politically as well as hurting the ability of those who would be your allies to effectively stand for you. Get a grip.

Masters of the Blinding Light: Part 4

D. 'THE PLAN' AS PUBLISHED BY NEW AGE

It should be noted that this 'Plan' is universally emphasized among New Agers as being of non-human origin; it is likewise presented as a non-negotiable package - all who witness the official inauguration of the New Age must submit to 'The Plan' in its entirety or be left out of the 'New World Order': "[The New Age initiate] no longer identifies himself with form or even with soul, but with the will of divinity and the eternal Plan and purpose. It becomes his plan and purpose.

He knows no other..." (Bailey, 'Esoteric Astrology', p.92)

The specific stages of the Plan were 'transmitted' in detail through Alice Bailey (apparently from 'Djwhal Khul'), beginning in the 1930s, but were kept classified until 1975, when Bailey (by then deceased) gave the NA leaders instructions to go public. The 'hierarchy of masters' are said to be the ones responsible for concocting and directing 'the Plan' as their organized program to get mankind to the 'next evolutionary level'. Since quality is vital for starting the next 'root-race', only selected 'starseed' people are designated to make the 'quantum leap' into the next level of 'human transformation' and they need careful preparation by these spirits lest they 'burn out' in the transition. The 'Plan' is quite lengthy, and proposes many global changes, but a few speak specifically of the Jewish people:

1. Plans for religion: 1. The reorganisation of world religions - if in any way possible - [including] their out-of-date theologies, their narrow-minded emphasis, and their ridiculous belief...

2. The gradual dissolution - again if in any way possible - of the orthodox Jewish faith, with its obsolete teaching, its separative emphasis... I do not fail to recognize those Jews throughout the world who acknowledge the evils and who are not orthodox in their thinking...[thus all who cling to Jewish identity or Israeli nationhood will be defined as orthodox, not just those who follow Torah] [Bailey and Blavatsky included Jewish Kabbalists among those who have 'freed themselves from orthodoxy'; more later]

3. Preparation for a revelation which will inaugurate the new era and set the note for the new world religion." (Alice Bailey, Externalisation of the Hierarchy, pp.453-454) David Spangler, Buckminster Fuller and Foster Bailey (Alice's husband) confirmed that religious freedom must end in the New Age, to be replaced by a world-state religion. Wells even targeted communism for elimination. 2. Conditioning society to receive the Plan: Certain stages prior to publicizing the Plan were carefully followed (per 'The Externalisation of the Hierarchy,' Alice Bailey), to indoctrinate society with certain 'ancient' teachings: planetary evolution and the ultimate perfectibility of man; the interconnectedness of all life and matter; the 'kingdom of God' as the appearance of 'soul-controlled men' on earth; all men being at different stages in this evolution towards the goal of 'godness'; some men having achieved soul-control already, approaching perfection or godhood; these god-men having a Plan to get all men to their level if we will cooperate.

To break down traditional aversion to these alien teachings, NA was to encourage 'paths to higher consciousness' which produce passivity, as tools for mind control [what the same NAers call "brainwashing" when denouncing fundamentalists.

Observers at Creme's New Age lectures report that he appears to practice some form of hypnosis, silently panning the audience with a glassy stare, until people begin to exhibit symptoms of a passive trance state; he waits until this condition is widespread, 30-45 minutes, before beginning his lectures. More on other 'paths' below.] Of course, no indoctrination could get far today without cooperation from mass media.

NAers claim that the major networks are firmly in their camp, which gives context to comments like the following: "Our job is to give people not what they want, but what we decide they ought to have." (Richard Salant, ex-President, CBS News) "We are going to impose our agenda on the coverage by dealing with issues and subjects that we choose to deal with." (Richard Cohan, Sr. Producer, CBS political news) Not only the contents fed to the public but their timing appears to be a factor. David Rockefeller confirmed this by thanking "The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our [New World Order] meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years." [date and context of comment unknown]

2a. People can be prepared to passively accept the Plan via many different avenues: holistic health, global unity, pagan and eastern religions, animal/tree worship, mind-altering drugs like LSD (endorsed by Bailey and Ferguson as "tools for transformation"), hypnosis, alternative healing such as homeopathy and acupuncture (these favored by Creme as "part of the great shift in consciousness"), yoga, TM, kundalini and chakras, martial arts, science fiction, witchcraft, Freemasonry, Kabbalah, UFOlogy, black or white magic, spiritism, psychic powers, guided imagery, hypnotherapy, EST, psychological rebirthing, self-actualization, Jungian psychology, sex orgies, 'magick' (of 'Aleister Crowley') - to name a few.

A 'path' can be high-tech, refined, politically correct - or primitive, bizarre, brutal; there is something to appeal to everyone. The common goal is an 'altered state of consciousness' which all the above try to introduce in some form (ie, trance or dreamlike state, emptying the mind of deliberate thought), which opens one up to passively welcoming 'spirit guides' or invisible 'higher intelligences'. Some can 'accelerate their paths to higher consciousness' through drugs, blood sacrifices or deviant sex acts (as in Hindu Tantrism).

Once a person receives spirit guides, who go by various names borrowed from many religions, the paths all 'merge' into one, preparing everyone for the 'mass planetary initiation' into the 'New World Order' under Lucifer's guidance. 2b. While most people are left to their own devices in choosing paths of enlightenment, the New Age sponsors several rallying points to coordinate efforts on a worldwide level and give 'seekers' a boost into 'higher consciousness'. The most widely known is 'The Great Invocation', a poetic prayer now in over 50 languages, distributed by 'World Goodwill' with the promise of 'transforming life changes' if recited often enough. The wording is so vague that any religion can live with it, but its author Alice Bailey was quite clear: the "Plan of Love and Light" is the 'ascended masters' Plan headed by Lucifer; to "let Light descend on earth" (or in an alternate version, "from the Morning Star...let Christ stream forth") is for Lucifer to take over the planet as supreme deity; to "let purpose guide the little wills of men") is for the 'masters' to control men's minds; and to "seal the door where evil dwells" (or, "bolt and charge the corridor where evil spirits tarry") is to eliminate monotheism.

Other NA rallying points are: 'Harmonic Convergence' days (to meditate or pray for world transformation), 'Earth Day' (celebrating the personhood of the Earth and our relations with "her"), Mind-Body-Spirit Festivals (to experience oneness in diversity), 'World Instant of Cooperation' (Dec. 31st of each year, one hour of meditation and 'harmonic resonance' for 'the oneness of life'), 'Declaration of World Thanksgiving' (interfaith effort "honoring the spirit of human gratitude" as a "healing force").

[Prominent rabbis have participated in World Thanksgiving, no doubt unaware that they were virtually the only participants whose "Lord of creation" is not Maitreya or Lucifer. Why are they invited then? Their endorsement is solicited to give NA ideology credibility in the Jewish community which implicitly trusts in its leaders. More in Missionizing section.] 3. The Plan's religious war: The 'masters' aim to reverse the great 'suppression of the wisdom of the Atlantean civilization' - the result of an ancient war between the 'White Lodge' (the 'hierarchy of masters') and the 'Black Lodge' (source of Jewish/Christian teaching). [more on this in the Statements on Jews section].

The masters of the 'White Lodge' were forced to withdraw into space and leave earth in control of the 'Black Lodge' - but they saw to it that 'White Lodge' teachings were preserved in Babylon [through Biblical Nimrod?] to be passed down to 'guardians of the ancient wisdom in each generation' including Egyptians, Aztecs, Incas, Mayans, Hindus, Buddhists Chinese (Taoism), American Indians and assorted 'enlightened ones who left restrictive Judaism and Christianity' (collectively called 'the White Brotherhood').

Among the last two, certain groups are identified: the Knights Templar (especially in 'Holy Grail' lore), Freemasons (established by King Solomon in his more 'enlightened' years), 'gnostics' and Kabbalists (Jewish and Christian or 'Hermetic'). The 'hierarchy of masters' who left are now returning (from a spiritual hideout called 'Shambhalla') to rebuild their 'inner government' on planet earth, which will finally put the 'Black Lodge' out of business.

In short, there is to be a religious war-to-end-all-wars, without which the New World Order cannot be fully established. As a result, 'the worn out Jewish dispensation', which includes Christianity as an offshoot, will be outlawed and replaced by the 'New World Religion'. This will be mandatory and will have to be imposed for a time 'for the good of all'. Along with the end of personal religious choice, Creme and others promise the end of democracy, with democratic states themselves voting it out of existence.

There is to be a single government, tax system, currency, identity register, language and religion ([many web sites are debating this issue]. 4. Goal of the Plan - Initiation: All who wish to enter the New Age 'on the physical plane' [alive] must undergo an 'energy activation' or 'rebirth' - usually marked by a subjective trance-induced 'light experience' where one meets either a 'spirit guide' or one's 'higher self' (no difference since 'all is one'). This 'altered state of consciousness' will eventually lead to a 'Luciferic initiation' into the 'new humanity', or a vow of allegiance to Lucifer as god.

Those who cannot (no souls) or will not ('not sufficiently developed in their spiritual journey') will be sent on to their next life in a global 'cleansing action' (Alice Bailey, 'The Rays and the Initiations' pp.754-755). [for more, see Doctrines on the Jews, below] By means of this 'initiation' all will continue on their journey to 'godhood' at the new level, which includes 'personal experience of the knowledge of good and evil'. [sounds like Genesis 3:5, and it's meant to] Since God has both a good and an evil side, and one cannot become a complete god with only one side.

"Lucifer comes to give us the final gift of wholeness. If we accept it, then he is free and we are free. That is the Luciferic initiation. It is one that many people now, and in the days ahead, will be facing, for it is an initiation into the New Age." (Spangler, 'Reflections on the Christ') NAers confirm that this is what Lucifer offered to Eve in the Garden, and it's being offered again today. Only it's been 'misunderstood due to fear inherited from the superstitious Jews'.

5. Dealing with opposition to the Plan: The only spiritual systems which will not work in this scheme are the monotheistic or 'personal immortality' religions ('fundamentalist' or Bible-based Christianity and Judaism, some kinds of Islam) which 'refuse to abandon their fear and separation' and are 'outmoded and dangerous in their exclusivity'.

Even if they were not separatist, Blavatsky explains that they err with "gods created by man in his own image and likeness, a blasphemous and sorry caricature of the ever unknowable." Likewise Creme brands the Jewish tradition of blood sacrifice as "impossible" and blames Judaism for the Christian teaching of Christ as a blood atonement for sin. These faiths and their adherents are an obstacle to mankind's progress toward the next 'quantum leap'.

A brochure by the 'New Group of World Servers', adorned with a '666' design, calls them "religious experiments which spread the virus of hatred and separation" and which "have no part in the New Age". After the Luciferic initiation, those who refuse to relinquish monotheism and/or Jewish identity will be sent to 'another dimension' or 'level of vibration', outside of this physical incarnation, where they will be happier and better off, according to Alice Bailey, Nicholas Roerich and David Spangler. The latter put it delicately, saying that "those attuned to the old world" would be "transported through the [cosmic] law of attraction" to "another planet, plane of existence or level of earth's consciousness where they can be contained... the main point is that they will lose, for the time being, their access to the etheric planes of power and the ability to control or influence the developments upon earth."

(Revelation, Birth of a New Age, pp.163-4) This is known as the stage of 'global purge' or 'cleansing action'. As Benjamin Creme puts it, there is no choice: "It is indeed a matter of share [not only economic resources and governmental power, but religious belief and identity] or die [as a race]." ('The Reappearance of the Christ', appendix, 'How the Plan is Working Out') Creme's term for it is 'a necessary sword of cleavage' (same book) for all who refuse the 'mass planetary initiation'.

5a. The Plan's divide-and-conquer strategy: Until the mass 'initiation', those opposing the Plan are to be fought in two ways. One is infiltration [see Missionizing section]. The other is turning the various remaining orthodox monotheists one against another. The single most notorious tool invented by NA propagandists was 'The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion'. Composed by unknown sources, the individual who claimed to have "found" the 'Protocols' was Yuliana Glinka, a devoted Theosophist and Blavatsky's personal companion, who "felt it her Christian [sic!] duty" to release it in Russia (alternately called 'The Secret of the Jews').

The book was translated into English by Victor Marsden, a British racial supremacist who fled England to join Hitler, and then circulated in the U.S. by occultist Henry Ford. The latter was applauded for his "faith" by the Theosophical Society ('The Theosophist', December 1938, p.239). Blavatsky herself wrote at least one anti-semitic tract with content similar to 'Protocols', published by the Theosophical Society in 1888. [see The Occult Establishment, James Webb, 1976] The effect of 'Protocols' on the history of Jewish-Christian and Jewish-Moslem relations hardly needs comment - from the NA point of view it was and continues to be a stroke of genius [made more enjoyable, no doubt, by the irony that they didn't have to invent a story - their own racist conspiracy to dominate the world was simply put in the mouths of the Jews; thus, whenever evidence of their own work turns up, their main target for liquidation can catch hell for it!]. To this day, most Jews are convinced that 'Protocols' was a disgusting piece of Christian slander.

6. Disarmament in the Plan: The first order in 'The Open Conspiracy' (H.G.Wells) was to foster a global anti-war movement. Also according to Alice Bailey, a global disarmament program, especially nuclear disarmament, is vital. This is designed to put nuclear weapons exclusively in the hands of the 'planetary government' for the purpose of "convincing" any national or political entity which tries to oppose the new worldwide political/religious blend.

[Because the implications for Israel can be seen only in the extended quote, I include it here:] "In the preparatory period for the new world order there will be a steady and regulated disarmament. It will not be optional. No nation will be permitted to produce and organise any equipment for destructive purposes... "The atomic bomb [was] used only twice destructively... its [constructive] uses are twofold at this time: (a) as a forerunner of that release of energy which will change the mode of human living and inaugurate the new age wherein we shall not have civilisations and their cultures but a world culture and an emerging civilisation... (b) as a means in the hands of the United Nations to enforce the outer forms of peace, and thus give time for the teaching...to take effect.

The atomic bomb does not belong to [at that time, 1957] the three nations who... own the secrets at present. It belongs to the United Nations for use - or let us rather hope, simply for threatened use - when aggressive action on the part of any nation rears its ugly head... [or for use on] political groups of any powerful religious organisation, who are as yet unable to leave politics alone..."

('The Externalisation of the Hierarchy', by Alice Bailey, pp. 191 & 548) [The only nations which combine religion and politics are the Vatican, the radical Moslem countries, and of course the Jewish State. Of these, the only nation possessing nuclear weapons is Israel. This puts into perspective the increasing pressure from the UN on Israel to sign the nuclear nonproliferation pacts and open her nuclear facilities to UN inspectors...]

7. The success of the Plan thus far: There seem to be some hitches on the global religion issue. Within NA, the Theosophy founded by Helena Blavatsky successively broke into 4 competing religious groups: (1)Theosophical Society (Annie Besant); (2)Anthroposophy (Rudolf Steiner, David Spangler); (3)Arcane School, the 'School of Ageless Wisdom', Lucis Trust (Alice Bailey, Benjamin Creme, Robert Muller); (4)'I AM', 'The Church Universal and Triumphant' (Guy & Edna Ballard, Elizabeth Clare Prophet). [Conflicting theologies were not at issue so much as severe ego clashes. All these offshoots have in common a reverence for Blavatsky's writings, allegiance to Bailey's 'master' Djwhal Khul, and commitment to 'the Plan' of the 'ascended masters' in its entirety.]

Also, for reasons unpublicized, the 'Day of Declaration' when Maitreya was to show himself as deity to the world, has been postponed several times (1925, 1982, 1992 - Creme now refrains from date-setting). 7a. Monotheistic influence is also holding up the show more than was anticipated. In 1945, Maitreya announced that he would reveal himself when (among other global reforms) "people are released from authoritarian supervision of their religious thought." By his own admission, he must be invited by mankind to take over on a religious/spiritual level. With each postponement of Maitreya's 'Day of Declaration', there appears to be increasing frustration among NA spokesmen at the refusal of 'the old order' of monotheistic groups to obey the 'laws of human evolution' and die out.

Lucis Trust ('World Goodwill Newsletter', summer 1982) cited "three prominent examples" of "rising fanatical religious fundamentalism [causing a rise in] blatant militarism"; they named the U.S. (specifying "those who expect... the biblically prophesied global cataclysm"), Iran and Israel [no specifics - are they that similar?], calling these "frightening... dangerous... a threat to world peace" although they are only "victims of fear".

Others are vexed by the organized activism of American fundamentalist Christians, particularly their influence in Congress; the rise of Islamic states (not mentioning domestic tyranny but only terrorism); and the rising numbers of self-assertive Jews, returning to Judaism and/or a national identity. [One obvious letdown for NA was the unexpected swing of the Israeli electorate to the right in 1996.

Many media anchormen and liberal politicians reacted in shocked disbelief to Netanyahu's election, some having to interrupt premature celebrations for the wrong candidate. Minutes after hearing the election results, U.S. President Clinton was caught on camera uncharacteristically stammering and avoiding eye contact. Seems none of these had considered that Israel's democracy might not rubber-stamp the Plan for a 'New Middle East'... leave it to those stiffnecked Jews...]

7b. In contrast, the overall political and social cooperation with the Plan appears to satisfy many. In 1976, right after the Plan went public, the 'ascended masters' gave orders to establish world centers in anticipation of the New World Order, according to Creme, with the goal of "gradual transformation of society without disorder and trauma." They are located in New York, London, Geneva, Darjeeling and Tokyo.

A nucleus of 'world servers' has also been trained to run these centers, and are stationed "in every country in the world, without exception." International committees have been quietly working on multi-stage programs for implementing the New World Order; many of these have already recruited resources and personnel and need only the signal to become operational. One key group, the 'UN Commission on Global Governance', hopes to call a World Conference in 1998 "for the purpose of submitting to the world the necessary treaties and agreements for ratification and implementation [of a global government] by the year 2000."

The 'UN World Constitution' includes an agreement of "the governments of the nations... to order their separate sovereignties into one government, to which they surrender their arms." Other arrangements include: A UN Trusteeship Council will take control of the "global commons", which includes all international waters and air space; a UN Economic Security Council will set up a global funding and barter system, with the power to withhold funding from uncooperative nations; a single monetary and taxation system will require all commerce to be conducted via a universally registered credit number for each earth citizen; a standing UN army will assume peacekeeping responsibilities in areas of conflict - this, according to Henry Lamb of the Environmental Conservation Organization, "with or without request or permission from the country involved."

Lamb also predicts: "The U.S. can be expected to help facilitate the 1998 World Conference on Global Governance, and then lobby Congress to ratify and implement the treaties and agreements necessary to make global governance a reality." [see MP Online, New World Order Update, on-line via the Web]

7c. In spite of the inexplicable setbacks in the spiritual momentum of the Plan, NA leaders like Creme are confident that we are about to see its completion: "There is no doubt that there will be opposition... but the need for change will become so overwhelmingly obvious, that they will find themselves increasingly powerless to stop the momentum." ('Reappearance of the Christ,' 1980) The overall mood of NA is summed up in a popular slogan: "My karma just ran over your dogma."

Various comments imply that Maitreya is not above "convincing" reluctant countries through disasters both natural (either triggered or allowed without rescue) and man-made (such as nuclear threats per Alice Bailey's Plan above); while these are regrettable, the end will justify the means: "These peoples will eventually be replaced by the new root race about to make its appearance in a newly cleansed world; nevertheless, for the moment, this is a tragedy." ('Cosmic Countdown,' p.12, 1982, 'Guardian Action Publications'). Any underground resistance movement is viewed as highly unlikely to succeed, as Zbignew Brezhinsky (National Security Advisor under President Jimmy Carter) assures us: "Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files [which] will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities." [date of this statement not known]

C. THE GODS OF NEW AGE:

NA Religion is based on a blend of practically every religious and occult philosophy found in the world except Torah-based Judaism and early (pre-Constantine, pre-gnostic) Christianity. The hodge-podge harmonizes surprisingly well, and is outlined methodically in a 19th century Western system called 'Theosophy' (Greek, "knowledge of the gods"). The main tenets of NA religion:

1. God (not a Personal Creator, but 'the Force') is in everything and everything is in God (or is destined to become God), whether people, animals, objects, planets, stars or the Great Void ('Nirvana'). Alternately, the NA messages to the public encourage "faith in a loving Creator" or "thanksgiving to the Lord of Creation", phrased to allow everyone his own interpretation. For themselves, however, the Creator is the head of their 'hierarchy' of spirit guides - a more highly evolved being who once started out on the lowest, physical, plane but has reached the level where he can be considered 'God'. He turned down his right to enter into 'Nirvana', and instead made the 'supreme sacrifice' of turning back to creation and taking the responsibility to 'create' us into gods. [care must be taken to always keep this redefinition of "Creator" in mind when reading their propaganda]

2. Each human is a god in the making. But, according to NA teacher Benjamin Creme, when they pray they are not to pray to themselves, but to 'the God within' or the 'God immanent' - their 'higher self' whom they do not yet know as their self. God being in all, this higher self is in union, or 'at-one-ment', with other selves 'higher up in their spiritual evolution', namely ancient spirits who have 'mastered' their godhood and 'ascended' into 'a higher vibration' (no longer needing bodies). They know of our race's condition and have offered mankind their help in evolving into godhood.

[supposedly for no self-serving motive whatsoever - not even the toughest cynics question the integrity of these strangers.] In practical terms, prayer is directed to these 'higher beings' as God, and messages are 'transmitted' from them which the 'enlightened' worshiper is expected to accept as truth, and in doing so he will gain knowledge, power, health and inner peace, and come closer to godhood.

3. All NA perceptions of reality (every possible universe is equally 'real' in your mind, where you 'create your own reality' at will), all NA plans for world domination (mapped out in stages and matter-of-factly dubbed 'The Plan') and all NA value systems (who is 'more highly evolved' than others, how this is determined, how one moves up) are dictated exclusively by 'revelations' from the above-mentioned spirits, the 'masters of wisdom'. These spirits have chosen certain physical spokesmen to transmit their knowledge to the world, who are known as 'channelers' - in Tenach days called witches, spiritists and mediums (unfairly persecuted by a few of the Jewish leaders but welcomed by many others). Major documents attributed to the 'ascended masters' include 'The Urantia Book', 'The Cosmic Gospels', 'The Secret Doctrine', 'The Externalisation of the Hierarchy', 'The Rays and the Initiations' - to name a few.
Each of the human authors merely took dictation, via automaticwriting, from 'supermortal personalities' such as 'The Tibetan Master', aka 'Djwhal Khul', the source of all of Alice Bailey's books. There is one all-inclusive document that does not exist on the physical plane, which occultists say may be briefly seen only at the 'highest level of consciousness': the 'Akashic Record', said to be an imprint of all past and future events. Hitler believed he saw these occult records during an occultic experience and read there of his destiny as a New Age agent to purify the Aryan race.

4. At the crucial times of new 'ages' or 'subraces' [see Human History section], a spirit known as 'Maitreya' or 'World Teacher'- the 'most highly evolved being known to man' - descends from a hidden high place or 'power vortex' (the Himalayas, or outer space) and 'overshadows' a chosen spokesman, who relays 'transmissions' to guide the human race into the next 'cycle'. Five times previously (one for each subrace) he chose Buddha, Hermes, Zoraster, Orpheus, and Jesus. [in spite of the Torah starring in the 4th subrace of Aries, there is no mention of Moses...] This being another 'transition' time, Maitreya has made contact with 'Benjamin Creme'. Maitreya, according to Creme, has held the 'office of Christ' or 'master of all masters' for the last 2600 years, [aha! that's why he missed Moses... but then that means he also missed the first 4 subraces he was supposed to guide...] and as such is head of the 'Hierarchy of Ascended Masters'. Another name which Maitreya uses is 'Lucifer'.

5. Lucifer is a Latin word meaning light bearer - he whom the Jews have called "helel ben shahar" (Isaiah 14:12) or 'shining one, son of the morning' ('The Beacon', vol. XLVII, no 9, 1978, pub by Lucis Trust), also the anointed cherub who was in the Garden of Eden (Ezekiel 28:12-15). NAers themselves say that this is the one known as Satan, but that his activity and intentions have been misunderstood (or deliberately slandered - given the name "hasatan" or "the enemy" by the Hebrews and expanded by the Christians). New Agers honor Lucifer as the ultimate being-turned-god, the one who first promised to bring mankind into godhood (appearing to Adam and Eve, and also before that). But since many are not able to accept this name, he allows others to call him 'krishna', 'buddha', or even 'christ/messiah'.

They insist, however, that Maitreya is the one all these faiths are waiting for, including Jews who await Moshiach. They recognize Chinese worship of 'the dragon', and Egyptian/Hindu worship of 'the cobra', as forms which Lucifer takes on. They also approve of witches who worship Lucifer in the form of a goat-man, known in nature cults as 'Pan' (the deity worshiped at Findhorn and credited with their unique agricultural methods - see 'The Magic of Findhorn' by Paul Hawken). Lucifer, Creme preaches, is the only being to have evolved to a '7th degree initiation', as opposed to Buddha (6th) or Jesus (4th) (the latter was briefly classed as a 5th degree, which would have released him from further reincarnation; however, he was found "unworthy" of this level). [the only "master" known to have been "demoted"...maybe because the 'masters' found out he was Jewish??]

Lucifer is personally in charge of our planetary evolution - thus, our 'creator' [see above in gods section]. He (as Maitreya) is quoted by Creme as having "nourished" all the genius which humankind has produced, including Freud, Jung, Picasso, Mahatma Gandhi, Karl Marx and Einstein (all these reaching a '2nd level' initiation). Lucifer arrived here 18-1/2 million years ago from the planet Venus, which became known by one of his names, 'The Morning Star'. At some point Maitreya (now in a physical body) will allow Lucifer to inhabit him, when all are 'freed from the unreasoning fear' of this name - hence the term and goal of the 'Luciferic initiation'. [see below in The Plan section] The number 666, held as Lucifer's sacred number, is to be used wherever possible to hasten his appearance, or alternately, as a 'signal for help' to UFOs whose inhabitants serve under Lucifer. [this number is not meaningful to Jews, but early Christian tradition, while still close to its Jewish roots, called it "the number of the beast", who was an evil creature empowered by "the dragon" to make war against the Jews - see New Testament, Revelation 13.]

6. Creme, since going public in 1981, has urged people to address the New Age messiah as 'Maitreya' or 'Sanat Kumara'. Lately, however (1997), Creme has revised his presentation of Maitreya on his web sites. Whereas Maitreya was always the name of the spirit speaking through Creme, whom no one was allowed to see "until he chooses to reveal himself", now a photograph of a human "Maitreya" is displayed, while the 'master' said to be speaking through Creme "has a name known only to an inner circle" and goes by "Master _" [sic], or the 'Avatar [manifestation] of Synthesis'. Until recently Maitreya was the highest initiate (7th degree) in the cosmos; Creme now claims that 'Master _' is so much higher that his level cannot be revealed; "we wouldn't comprehend it." [this shift may be a stage of uniting all the diverse titles and images mentioned above under the name 'Lucifer', a necessary step for the planned 'Luciferic initiation' where allegiance to this name alone will be allowed.] Creme still speaks of Maitreya, but his relationship to 'Master _' is unclear, except that he is 'overshadowed' by him.

7. Since all is god, this includes good and evil, which are merely different sides of the divine. David Spangler ('Reflections on the Christ') labels them the 'light side' and the 'dark side,'or 'the Christ side' and the 'Lucifer side,' which are equally necessary for wholeness. Morality and victims then are obsolete concepts from 'the old dualist dispensation'. As Mark Satin puts it, "In a spiritual state, morality is impossible."

Because 'karma' has taken over the dispensing of reward and punishment, all injury and suffering is merited, whether the sufferer is aware of his offense or not. On the other hand, those who injure or wrong others need only to be taught that "man is his own satan just as man is his own salvation," and that "evil is not moral guilt but spiritual imbalance. Evil energies are simply energies that have been used out of timing or out of place, or just not suited to the needs of evolution." (Spangler) In accordance with this, prisons and mental hospitals are investing heavily in 'higher consciousness' training as rehabilitation. Due to reincarnation, there is no such thing as murder, so in the New Age no one can be prosecuted for being the instrument of karma in sending someone on to their next life; on the contrary, it can be counted a service.

As was said previously, I recommend passing this article not only to opponents of the New Age but also to its supporters - especially if they are Jews or are married to Jews.

So:

A. HOW BIG A CONSPIRACY?

Contrary to past groups, New Age is quite obliging in identifying the members of their "benevolent conspiracy", whom the leading spokesmen claim are all supportive of 'The Plan' for a 'New World Order' (details of 'The Plan' itself are also available). 'New Age Directories' have been on sale since the early 1970s, and mushroomed in 1975 when the movement 'received transmissions' from 'the ascended masters' (their spirit guides) to go public.

One such early directory ('International New Consciousness Directory', 'New Age Media', 1979) contained 10,000 groups (excluding branches) in North America alone.

'The Aquarian Conspiracy' by 'Marilyn Ferguson' (pub. 1980) was the first major book by NA purporting to catalog the extent of their movement. Ferguson had proclaimed then: "There are legions of conspirators... in corporations, universities, hospitals, on the faculties of public schools, in factories, in doctors' offices, in state and federal agencies, on city councils and the White House staff, in state legislatures, in volunteer organizations, in virtually all arenas of policy-making in the country [U.S.]... [including] at the cabinet level of the United States Government." ('The Aquarian Conspiracy', p.24, 235). However, other NA spokesmen called her description inaccurate, in that she had understated the influence of New Age worldwide, especially in the UN and the EEC.

There are umbrella groups actively 'networking' other organizations into the Plan: the 'International Cooperation Council' (since changed to 'Unity in Diversity' - a network of 300+ organizations),

'Lucis Trust' (publisher of Alice Bailey, once called 'Lucifer Trust'),

'Stanford Research Institute' (educational material, including a 'New Age Manifesto'),

the 'Lorian Association' (headed by David Spangler),

'Share International',

'Tara Center' (both headed by Benjamin Creme),

'Amnesty International',

'World Federalists' (world politics),

The 'Networking Institute' (prominent in the Far East),

'World Goodwill' (humanitarian aid),

'New Group of World Servers'(social action),

'Whole Earth catalogs' (environment and nutrition),

the 'First Earth Battalion' (US Military),

'Planetary Citizens' (global politics),

the 'Rainbow Coalition' (interracial unity),

Zero Population Growth,

Planned Parenthood,

the International Legal Commission (UN consultant),

UNICEF (UN relief agency),

[Note: many well-meaning people participate in these, simply from a desire to further international understanding or make the world a better place. For the innocent souls who have not learned what 'planetary initiation' and 'global cleansing action' mean to New Agers, a rude awakening is coming, especially if they are Jewish.]

According to Ferguson, governmental groups (U.S.) which have embraced New Age include:

the Department of Defense (invited Ferguson as keynote speaker at their annual dinner, 1982),

the National Institute of Mental Health,

the Department of Health,

Education and Welfare.

Industrial giants which require their managers to attend New Age seminars:

General Motors,

AT&T,

Chrysler Corporation,

several oil companies,

Lockheed,

Blue Cross-Blue Shield.

[Ferguson's list is 17 years old at this point; we can assume the NA influence to be significantly wider by now.]

NA spokesmen have no anxiety about their movement being sabotaged from within, due to their deliberate structure of 'a network of networks'. Described by Ferguson ('Aquarian Conspiracy') as the opposite of a bureaucracy, "Its organizational chart would resemble a badly knotted fishnet... Its center is everywhere... Its life does not hinge on any one [group or leader]." The networks take the same action, she said, not because they collude together, but because they share the same assumptions.

Each network is independent of the others and no one organization or leader is indispensable; therefore, anyone causing a PR disaster or deciding to fight the Plan can be eliminated without damaging the network, with others taking over the function. [The Jim Jones Guyana fiasco was a good example: the 'Spiritual Community Guide' of 1972 listed his People's Temple as a 'New Age spiritual center'; after the mass suicide, 'New Age Magazine' branded him as "a dangerous example of Christian fundamentalism" and he was quietly removed from the Guide. See Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow, Constance Cumbey, p.60]

Although it is claimed that New Age has no leader or structure, there are numerous organizational charts, a world center ('Findhorn Community' in Scotland), and several 'holy sites' where 'masters' can be found - including Jerusalem [which explains world pressure to delegitimize this city as Israel's capital and internationalize it].

NA has its priesthood too, certain spokesmen whose words are received as law. They include:

B. HUMAN HISTORY ACCORDING TO NEW AGE:

1. Mankind as a whole is continually evolving upward, physically and spiritually (there is no meaningful difference between material and spiritual - what we consider "real" is 'maya' [Hindu term for illusion], no different from dreams or imagination). We have evolved through several 'root-races' (the 1st the 'Lemurian', the 2nd the 'Atlantean'), nearing the end of the 3rd, the 'Aryan root-race' [more on Hitler's Aryan race later].

We are now at a 'transition stage' between two 'ages' in the 'planetary evolution', about to enter the '6th subrace'. In order to reach each new subrace, the highest form of mankind must make a collective 'quantum leap'; other inferior strains are left behind and eventually die out as the newly empowered 'root' takes over. The new subrace is considered literally a new species of man. John White ('International Cooperation Council' Directory, 1979) coined the name 'homo noeticus' which is "a newer and higher form of humanity taking control of the planet... while the older species [homo sapien] dies out from a massive dose of irrationalism. Outwardly these mutant [meant positively] humans resemble the earlier forms. The difference is inward, in their changed mentality, in their consciousness." (p.15)

2. 'New Age' refers to the 'Age of Aquarius' (astrological) which is about to begin, as soon as there is a 'critical mass' of 'initiates' or 'enlightened ones' ready to make this 'leap' to the next race. The 'old age' being replaced is the 'Age of Pisces' which ushered in the 'Christian dispensation'. Conservative Christians are creating an obstacle to mankind reaching this 'critical mass', since they are unreasonably attached to their old dispensation. The Jews, who refused even to leave their 'Age of Aries' (the time of the Torah) to enter the 'Age of Pisces', are doubly behind in their 'evolutionary development'. [implications of this below]

3. This 'evolutionary progress' hinges on three major concepts, 'fortunately preserved for us by the Babylonians and Hindus' - reincarnation, human eugenics, and karma:
3a. 'Reincarnation' (each soul returning many times into different bodies) - Classic reincarnation holds that there is a limited number of souls being recycled over eons through thousands of lives. Obviously there is a problem with this theory, as there are far too many people on earth today to tally with the smaller number of reincarnated souls from the past.

Therefore, there must be empty bodies walking around, ie, subhumans without true souls inhabiting them. The lack in certain circles of 'openness to the light' of NA teaching is explained as one clue that they are among those lacking souls. Other so-called symptoms are severe physical or mental deformities, particularly genetic, and anti-social behavior.

3b. Eugenics (improving the race through breeding) - It is agreed that theoretically it is 'immoral' for soulless or otherwise inferior creatures to use up space and 'limited resources' on our 'overpopulated' 'Spaceship Earth' which should nurture the better-equipped. [note: scientists have been offering proof that the earth is not overpopulated at all, but that the available space, food and resources are not being utilized effectively.

However, their works rarely get any media attention.] Moreover, the 'purity of the human race' becomes downgraded as such 'lower orders' reproduce and interbreed with the 'better stock'. Two strategies follow: to strictly segregate the two kinds of humanity from social contact and mingling; and to hasten the demise of the undesired strain by preventing reproduction and by cutting short their natural lifespans wherever possible. Both strategies have been institutionalized in this century on a nationwide level, most notably in the Hindu caste system and in the Nazi racial purity laws. [Theosophy was the conduit from the former to the latter - more in the Nazism section]

A look at the history of 'Planned Parenthood' (until 1942 'The American Birth Control League') will reveal that its founders, Margaret Sanger, Madison Grant and Dr. Lothrop Stoddard, advocated this worldview, which was proclaimed on the masthead of the 'Birth Control Review' as "Creating a Race of Thoroughbreds". For them 'birth control' included not only contraception and abortion but infanticide: "The most merciful thing a large family can do to one of its infant members is to kill it." (Sanger, 'Women and the New Race', 1920, p.67) "Upon the quality of human life all else depends...
For race betterment is such an intensely practical matter: when peoples come to realize that the quality of the population is the source of all their prosperity, progress, security and even existence; we shall see much-abused 'eugenics' actually moulding social programmes and political policies... we or the next generation..." (Stoddard, The Rising Tide of Color against White World Supremacy, 1930) [Stoddard apparently applied his eugenics to white racial purity; the only difference between his and Theosophy's racial purity is who is 'inferior stock' - the rationale and 'solutions' are identical.]

Although Sanger et al proposed a peaceful path to 'racial purification' in which people should be educated and paid to foster "more children from the fit, fewer from the unfit", Nazi articles were printed and Nazi methods praised in the 'Birth Control Review'. [see more under Nazism section]. For a time, the US Supreme Court (see 'Buck vs. Bell', 1927) sanctioned forced sterilization of the poor, resulting in 'eugenics laws' being enacted in 30 states between 1927 and 1933; these laws followed the 'Model Eugenical Sterilization Law' (of the 'Eugenics Record Office') which called for forcibly sterilizing "criminal mental patients, retarded, blind, deaf, diseased, alcoholics, and dependents on society;" these laws also required segregation of the physically and mentally disabled in state-run institutions (where sterilization took place routinely). The State of Virginia added "unwed mothers, prostitutes, petty criminals and children with disciplinary problems" for these 'treatments'. [as we know, Hitler rounded up the Jews only after legislating forced sterilizations and abortions, euthanasia, elimination of the physically and mentally disabled, and disposal of social misfits.] The U.S. eugenics laws were repealed by the Supreme Court only in 1972. [see the Pro-Life Activist's Encyclopedia, the American Life League, Chapter 53, on line via the Web]

While eugenics is today soft-pedaled only through expanding the legal limits of abortion and 'assisted suicide', it is part the NA 'Plan' to educate people that 'quality of life' takes priority over life itself ("Society legalizes abortion to enhance the quality of human life." Dr. H.B. Whittington). Gradual incremental education will increase public tolerance to the point where resistance to 'selection programs' such as infanticide will give way to cooperation: "Most birth defects are not discovered until birth. If a child were not declared alive until 3 days after birth, the doctor could allow the child to die if the parents so choose and save a lot of misery and suffering. I believe this view is the only rational, compassionate attitude to have." (Nobel laureate Dr. James D. Watson, 1973) 'Quality of life' issues were cited when the US Supreme Court upheld the 'euthanasia', or deliberate starvation, of "Baby Doe" of Bloomington, Indiana (1983).

While most assume from the above quotes that such 'selections' would be up to the individual family, existing laws such as 'Roe vs. Wade' (1973) and the American Law Institute Model Penal Code (1962) give doctors "the basic responsibility" for deciding when to abort. The oft-invoked 'woman's right to choose' has already been suspended in China, where a nationwide forced-abortion program is sponsored by the UN 'Fund for Population Assistance'. Certain forward-looking public figures saw the individual's right to life as secondary to that of the community: "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are basic rights.

But they are the rights of the individual and were listed [in the Declaration of Independence] at such a time when the literatures of freedom and dignity were concerned with the aggrandizement of the individual. They [individual rights to life, etc] have only a minor bearing on the survival of a culture." (B.F. Skinner, prominent Harvard psychologist and writer). "The ill-conceived 'love of neighbor' has to disappear, especially in relation to inferior or asocial creatures... in order to secure the maintenance of a hereditarily sound and racially pure people... The life of an individual has meaning only in the light of that ultimate aim." (Dr. Arthur Guett, Nazi Director of Public Health)

3c. 'Karma' [Hindu term] which means that this life contains rewards or punishments for good or bad deeds done in your 'previous lives', meted out by an impersonal mechanism, "the universal law of harmony, which unerringly maintains equilibrium in the cosmos" (William Judge, 'The Ocean of Theosophy'). Not only individuals, but races and even planets are affected by karma; the defects which identify any of these as 'inferior strains' needing eugenic control are ultimately outworkings of karma. It is not explained how the 'punishment' for a certain individual's actions can be passed on to another through genetics, but anyone who inherits a genetic defect is assumed to merit the punishment. Emphasis is made of 'racial karma' in explaining the suffering of the Jews [more later].

This 'cosmic law of nature' literally never makes a mistake. "There is no such thing as pure innocence, even in a tiny babe. Every soul carries within it the scars of centuries of wrong thinking and wrong doing." (Dr. Rodney Romney, 'Journey to Inner Space', p.127) Past lives which are lived wrongly bring about 'karma which must be worked off without complaint', and no one should try to alleviate their own or another's suffering 'lest we interfere with the outworking of their karma and unbalance cosmic justice' [this has long been practiced in India, where sick and starving people 'of low caste' are left to die in the streets]. 'William Q. Judge' taught extensively on this theme ('The Ocean of Theosophy'), and commented on its application to the Jews. The cosmic balance is alternately described in Oriental terms of 'yin-yang' where light and darkness (good and evil) are needed in balanced portions for a person, race or cosmos to be whole.

4. Back to 'evolution of the human race': Each time a new race is to begin there are great upheavals in human society and also 'birth pangs' in 'mother earth' - also given the goddess-name 'Gaia' (mankind and nature are spiritually 'interdependent' and 'interconnected', so one expresses the turmoil of the other [pantheism]). An example of upheaval was when the 'brilliant and spiritually advanced civilization of Atlantis' was destroyed in a great Flood (also recorded in Genesis 'but with distortions'). NAers are divided on what the Atlanteans did which brought about their destruction; however, it was 'karma' which overtook them, not judgment from a Creator. Another version is that the 'ascended masters' themselves sank Atlantis, considering it a 'failed experiment' due to human unfaithfulness to 'the Plan'. Yet another is that they lost a war with the 'Lemurians', survivors of an older race (today's Jews). [more later]

Since we are on the verge of a new race, we can expect to see great upheavals both in society and in 'mother earth', which include famines, storms, earthquakes, plagues, chaos, social breakdowns, violence and crime, disease, despair, insanity, etc., increasing until the 'new age' is birthed.
This stage is predicted to be "terrifying"... "a rapid acceleration truly described as Fires of Hell..." (a NA channeler on his web site) These wrongs are not to be resisted or remedied, however; they are the 'cosmic birthing process' which we must expect to get messy for a time, "a passing away of the old framework" with "the Light beginning to expose and correct malfunctions in the created order... not an age to fear, but to rejoice." (Romney, 'Journey to Inner Space') Global disasters have the benefit of 'weeding out the inferior seeds of humanity' whose 'bad karma' was coming due anyhow. Nevertheless, many NA groups focus on relief projects for both humanity and nature. [Critics have charged, however, that very little money is actually used to relieve suffering. Given this observation, which dovetails well with the attitude expressed above, the only motive NA relief projects could have is to pull sincere social activists into their orbit to indoctrinate them with NA [enlightenment."]

Together, these two factors (natural disasters and organized 'selection' programs) help the 'evolutionary progress' by 'purging' the human race of 'residue from inferior root-races', which will increase the 'purity of the root stock' as all 'natural selection' tends to do [echoes of Darwin's 'survival of the fittest' - an explanation why the "theory" of evolution is to be force-taught to school children as "proven scientific fact" (per World Goodwill), even though all the 'missing links' on which this theory hangs are still "missing" links...].

Masters of the Blinding Light: What Every Jew Should Know About the New Age/World Movement

The following is the first part of an article on the New Age Movement from a Jewish perspective. Written for the Jewish people by a Jew who lives in Israel, the article provides a wealth of information about the New Age/NWO and the genocidal plan which has been determined for the Jews.

The article also exposes the threat to Judaism that is presented by the Lubavitcher/Kabbalist Movement, which is Jewish mysticism derived from the same Chaldean source as the New Age.

In a word, the 'New Age' is a political/religious movement which seeks to unite the world under the guidance of non-human spirits, in the process singling out the Jewish people and Judaism for destruction. It is so popular that it is quickly becoming the standard for social, political and religious acceptability. It is consciously supported by a surprising number of prominent and grassroots groups (although not all are aware of the anti-Semitism), and its teachings are being unknowingly absorbed by many more. For these reasons, it is urgent that we be informed as to their platform.

If the reader is thinking, here comes another hysterical conspiracy theory, that is understandable. However, to my knowledge this is the first 'conspiracy' which has proudly called itself one, gone public with details of their program, and shown a confidence and an openness that plainly says (rightly or wrongly) that no one can stop them. What is more unsettling, they are convinced that no one in his right mind will WANT to stop them. Not even the Jews. Their anti-Semitism is projected as benevolent correction which will be embraced by the Jews themselves, once they really understand (not to be confused with similar Christian attitudes - this movement also targets hard-core Christians as 'spiritual Jews').

Here then is a condensed description of the philosophy and plans of the so-called New Age - from their own sources. Everything in this article is publicly distributed by various NA groups. (I have noted key words or people in 'single quotes' for internet searches and for identifying their many networks.)

Introductory Notes:

(1) I emphasize that the material below is summarized from explanations by leading New Age spokesmen themselves or their disciples - not what others say about them. Direct quotes are noted as such with the source. Any comments of my own or non-NA sources are in [brackets]. The last part (Jewish Responses) are completely my own thoughts.

(2) The premises of New Age are most clearly mapped out in a religious society called 'Theosophy' (founded 1875), which coined many of the 'buzz words' found below and which remains a prime source for piecing together NA foundations. Most if not all of them predate Theosophy, according to its founders, pre-existent in classical Hinduism, Buddhism and Babylonian religions. So despite the name "new" age, we are surveying a presumably ancient system.

(3) The discerning reader will notice NA statements that contradict others, especially regarding good and evil, fate and choice, truth and falsehood, and the identity of Maitreya with Lucifer. Pointing out these contradictions to hard-core New Agers will not cause them doubt. Since they have accepted the Hindu worldview that truth, good and reality are whatever each finds within himself (at any given moment), they will patiently reply that your demand for consistency regarding any of these is arbitrary and unnecessarily narrow. Do not expect logical analysis, empirical observation or comparative argument to be taken seriously, as NAers respect subjective experience only (and then only for the one who experienced it first-hand).

(4) Public pronouncements of New Age leaders, although usually in English, can sound like nonsense - recognizable terms used in unintelligible contexts or given contradictory associations. These are known as 'blinds', riddles deliberately coded to convey still-classified information over the heads of the uninitiated or hostile groups. The 'blinds' used in New Age are many and match those used in the occult (per Helena Blavatsky, 'The Secret Doctrine', p.435). Thus, we on the outside can know only as much as New Age spokesmen see fit to tell us; as in all occult groups some information is presumably shared only with top-level initiates. However, the riddles are being publicly unlocked with increasing frequency, indicating that NA sees its power base as sufficient to withstand any hostility to its agenda.

(5) There is a surprising number of people applauding the 'New World Order', 'the Age of Aquarius', or the 'ascended masters', who are woefully uninformed as to where all this is leading. This may be because they have chosen to back one NA issue without checking its foundations, or because they haven't had access to a wide enough range of NA sources. It is likely that many such NA supporters would appreciate knowing the whole truth about their "enlightenment". I recommend passing this article not only to opponents of the New Age but also to its supporters - especially if they are Jews or are married to Jews.

At a Crossroads

American Jewry, together with their brothers in Israel, is at a crossroads. For American Jews, that crossroads is a choice between supporting Israel and the Jewish people in the boldest manner possible by choosing to immigrate to the Land of Israel or continuing to live in the Diaspora. For Israeli Jews, it is a choice between making an active effort to bring the remaining exiles home and making them feel welcome as they have done for the Russian Jews, the Ethiopian Jews, and Jews from Arab nations, or deciding that the effort should all be on the part of American Jewry. The issue is complex: it is both religious as well as political.

The question of the ingathering of the exiles, and its necessity in our day is not only important from a historical perspective, its significance can be seen in the danger Israel faces with the international community, and increasingly the United States, pushing for the “Two-State Solution”.

Will American and Israeli Jews remain true to what was promised through the prophets? Will American Jews go along with the world’s apparent goal of peace at any cost, no matter the price Jews must pay, and will Israeli Jews make American Jewish immigrants as welcome as other immigrants, thereby possibly ushering in a last great Aliyah? Or will we all collectively ignore the fact that God said he was going to bring all the exiles back one day and thereby prolong the time until our redemption?
Ever since the days of the prophet Jeremiah we have been promised that our people were going to be brought back to the Land of Israel from the four corners of the globe. From that time, there have been those who worked to fulfill the prophet’s vision, and those who chose to stay behind in Babylon.

Jeremiah 23:3 (JPS)
3 And I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and multiply.

Jeremiah prophesied that the exiles would return to Israel. Return they did, but not with the expected scale nor with the longed for glory. Was Jeremiah a false prophet? Heaven Forbid!

Collectively we’ve been making our way back to the Land since Israel became a nation once more. We’ve been returning from everywhere in large numbers –except from the United States.

From the prophet Jeremiah’s perspective, Babylon was not our true home, though it had physical luxuries most places in our homeland couldn’t match. The same is true today when discussing America versus Israel. Like ancient Babylon, modern America is a beautiful, gilded cage for Jews.

To be sure, groups like Nefesh B’Nefesh together with the Jewish Agency for Israel have helped sixteen thousand Jews from North America make Aliyah as of the summer of 2008. However, since 1990 there have only been a total of about 20,000 Jews who made Aliyah from the USA (Bassok, 2007, Aliyah sees 9% dip from 2005, Haaretz.

Twenty thousand Jews over the course of about twenty years is insignificant compared to the number of Jews living in America today!

What’s holding American Jews back? What’s keeping American Jews from remembering that our portion as Jews is more than our community centers, our synagogues and our social and political activism? Together we need to remember that being a Jew is more than wearing kippot, more than lighting candles and saying Kiddush on Shabbat! Why can’t we remember that God gave us the entire Torah as our portion, and through the promises He made to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, he also gave us the Land of Israel?

The Land of Israel is our birth right. However, too many of us American Jews like the “Land of America (Babylon) the Great” with its promises of comfort, prestige, of never having to make sacrifices. Most of the world respects, if not likes, America. Most of the world despises Israel.

But American Jews can be more American than all the goyim around! Most don’t really need God in modern times. Who needs a fanciful God or other unlikely beings? They might as well talk about and pray to Santa and the elves. We can all live the American dream and everyone will think somehow, we are just like them! We’re no different!

We have itching ears, so let’s keep on telling ourselves those lies.

In deluding ourselves we allow a distance to grow between us and our Israeli brothers. There are those, such as some at the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle, who wrote an editorial entitled “Bad Move, Sen. Brownback” that willingly throws being Jewish under the bus of ideological expediency. They somehow don’t think being Jewish connects them at all to Israel, let alone Israel’s capitol, Jerusalem. They criticized Senator Brownback for again lobbying to get the American Embassy moved to Jerusalem! Why did they do that? Because President Obama is pushing so hard to have half of Israel’s capitol—our capitol—given over to the Palestinians; and Obama is their man? They would rather stand with those who have no personal stake in Israel than with the Land that is their birthright. Peace at any cost is the best option, right?

In so doing, they run the risk of trying to be like the Jews in Germany just before World War II who thought they were more German than the Nazis! That is, until the Nazis turned on them.

There’s a serious problem and a serious disconnect when American Jewish student groups like Hillel at Berkeley hold a frivolous dance party on Yom Hashoah, and a Cinco de Mayo celebration on Yom Hazikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day. Trying to be more American than the American goyim is wrong, and it’s going to backfire in the long run. Just whom are we American Jews trying to please?

So maybe the prophecies in Jeremiah are a process. Maybe God will still bring His people out of the American Babylon. In fact, I know He will. He already said He would.

“…out of all the countries whither I have driven them.”

Two things will have to occur for that to happen, though. Remember, American and Israeli Jews are both at a crossroads.

First, American Jews will have to learn to take God at His word. American Jews need to consider Aliyah—and they need to consider it now!

If you’re an American Jew and you’re not religious, fine. Religious Zionism is one thing, and there are plenty of Biblical reasons to be a Zionist, but there are also plenty of reasons to be a Zionist that have nothing to do with God Almighty.
In the entire world, the only place where Jews are not ever persecuted for being a Jew is Israel. If you like the idea of a safe haven, why do you live somewhere else? Why do you let others hold down the fort and keep this haven open and ready for you if things ever go south where you live now? Don’t you think you should be a part of building the fort and keeping it safe?

“Things won’t ever go bad in America for the Jews!”

Keep telling yourself that. That’s what Jews throughout history told themselves too, until things went bad.

American Jews need to consider Aliyah, and they need to consider it now!

They will have to see that living in the Galut is not a blessing, but is instead a curse. Living anywhere but the Land God gave us is like thumbing your nose at God and suggesting that where you live right now has more promise than the Promised Land. If you keep on that path, who is to say that one day it won’t be God who laughs when you find yourself in trouble far from home?

Secondly, Israel is not without its faults. The belief that all American Jews are wealthy is a false one, and the insular nature of the Israeli job sector needs to open up considerably. The American Jews are our brothers, and Israel is their promise from God as much as it is ours. It is our responsibility to help accommodate their return.

Israel bent over backwards for the Russian immigrants, and for those from every other place on Earth except for those from America. Why? Because American Jews are “rich;” they can take care of themselves. Besides, America’s streets are paved with gold, and everyone lives close to Hollywood and New York, right?

Wrong.

Israel needs to remember that it must not be just those in their twenties and thirties and couples who are “wanted” in Israel because they might be more productive.

(Those who hold such a view should be ashamed of themselves!)

Israel is the home of every Jew, period. That means the old, the young, the sick, the huddled masses of Jews from the ends of the Earth. Every Jew belongs in Israel!
American Jews need to have a solid direction that points home to Israel. Neither American Jews nor Israeli Jews can allow themselves to be swayed any which way the winds of expediency blow.

Israel needs to have a solid message that says “Welcome Home” and that doesn’t just pay lip service to its ideals. Its message of welcome must absolutely be consistent.
American Jewry together with their brothers in Israel is at a crossroads because Israel and the world are at a crossroads. Times are changing. Attitudes on both sides of the ocean among our people must change. The ingathering of the exiles must go on regardless of the world’s opinion. And maybe one day, we may all live to see one another in the light of God’s favor in the Land He has given us.

Obama's June 24th Townhall on Healthcare....

Although I am (according to many in my family) a bit liberal when it comes to ideas on Health Care (I favor a system such as Denmark's) I do not adhere to President Obama's ideas on Health Care to date.

I also find it rather disturbing that the mainline media is so willing to bypass any and all regular programming in favor of providing the president a platform to push his agenda. The scary thing is that it seems to be to an unprecedented level...I do not recall the television networks ever giving ANY president the level of support that Obama is currently enjoying.

Also, although I am NOT a Republican, I agree with Republican National Committee Chairman, Michael Steele when he says:

“The liberal special interests have clearly learned from their missteps the last time they tried to force Americans into a socialized health care system — the abysmal failure of the Clinton Administration's ‘HillaryCare,’” ... “That's why their friends at ABC News will be promoting Obamacare at virtually every opportunity, from ‘Good Morning America’ to ‘Nightline,’ and reach from ABC News' websites all the way to the White House's East Room.”

What is more disturbing, is that it doesn't seem that those who adhere to the idea that Talk Radio needs a "Fairness Doctrine" believe the same thing when it comes to television.

ABC has rejected the RNC's request to air their alternate views of the president's June 24th townhall meeting which will air on ABC in its entirety.

What's good for the goose doesn't seem to be good for the gander. And Hypocricy on the Left definitely seems to rule the day.

There should be no further bailouts of the American auto industry. Capitalism has a way of correcting itself when companies are so extravagant that they become bankrupt. According to the Associated Press: Obama is to announce plans to restructure GM and Chrysler LLC in exchange for additional government loans. The companies have been living on $17.4 billion in government aid and have requested $21.6 billion more.

The White House (The WHITE HOUSE!) has asked the CEO of GM, Rick Wagoner to step down, and the government is going to restructure this private business in exchange for more money to keep this dead horse from becoming a rotting corpse.

So what's bad about that, you say?

Lets take a look at who else has governmental control of their auto industries shall we?

1. The Soviets owned the Volga Automotive Association (Most soviet owned car companies were privatized with the fall of communism there.)
2. Another great example is IRAN: One of the state-owned industries in which the government of Iran directly holds over 40 percent of
the shares--and over 70 percent indirectly--is its car industry.
3. China runs State owned car companies.

That's just a few. What examples do we have there? Two Communist empires, and a theocratic dictatorship.

Inaugurating America's Messiah

America's new messiah is inaugurated today!

Amid controversy, the biggest inaugural spending in U.S. History, talk of an “extreme makeover” to the White House, Obama seems set to bring about some real change. I have to wonder if Americans are going to like the reality of that change when it actually arrives.

The audacity of hope!

I really do hope that Obama's presidency will not change a majority of moral values that many Americans hold dear. I hope that Obama does not pursue an agenda that if it became apparent, is actually anathema to everything this country has held dear for almost its entire existence. I hope that Obama's presidency doesn't change our nation's resolve to fight Islamic extremism. I hope that Obama's presidency does not vilify Israel, and remove our nation's support of the Middle East's only real democracy.

I hope that our economy can bounce back with Obama's plan. I hope that the American people will not lay a financial burden upon our children that they will have to try to dig themselves out of for many, many years to come. I hope that Obama appoints sensible, non-activist judges to the Supreme Court. I hope that he does not overturn partial birth abortions.

I hope that Americans can remember that this guy is just a man. Their fevered adoration reminds one of the absolute trust and capitulation of free will and thought given by the German people to Adolf Hitler. To be sure, Obama's rhetoric is nothing like Hitler's. But the extreme faith and trust so many Americans are placing in this man are worrisome to anyone who is wary of charismatic leaders who can whip people to an emotional frenzy...gain their support....and then do whatever he wishes.

Obama has spoken openly of making our government's actions transparent. Lets see how transparent his administration is! More importantly though...lets see how accountable his administration will be.

And, honestly...lets see if Americans will even care.

Bombing Gaza

I think I would like, at this time, to remind everyone exactly why Israel is bombing Gaza. If anyone recalls, there was an Egyptian brokered cease fire, or as the Arabs like to call it, a "Hudna." This was a six month long "cease fire" during which Hamas terrorists continued, off and on, to send both Kassam as well as Katysha rockets and mortar fire, over the Gaza border and into the south of Israel. I would also like to remind people, that this rocket and mortar fire was being directed at Israeli communities that are behind the "green line." The towns of Sderot, Netivot and Ashkelon let alone other southern communities are cities (particularly Ashkelon) with populations of a Hundred Thousand people or more.

With all of the calls for calm and quiet, with the many condemnations of Israel by the E.U. and the United Nations, Russia and others...it makes one wonder if any of these people screaming at Israel for their retaliation against Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terrorist organizations, would be screaming if these same terrorist organizations were targeting their communities?

Would these hypocrites be screaming if their militaries were sent to bomb those who were attacking them? Would France, Germany, Italy, Greece, or Great Britain...any of them, stand for a rocket attack on their soil? Or would they declare war?

Would they be worried about a humanitarian crisis knowing that Hamas regularly makes a habit of practicing the art of making civilians human shields, placing their military operations smack in the middle of civilian population centers...in schools, in mosques, in universities and hospitals?

I think we all know the answer to this.

The terrorist government of Hamas should have been toppled a long time ago. If the USA had the chutspah, the guts to take out Saddam Hussein...(who was NOT a terrorist leader, a terrible man, and an evil dictator perhaps, but not a terrorist)...then Israel should have the guts to do the same to Hamas, and the world be damned.

The only problem I see here, is that it does look like a politically expedient move on the parts of Ehud Olmert, Tzipi Livni and Ehud Barak. Israeli elections are less than two months away with opposition leader, Benjamin Netanyahu coming on strong in the polls. The Israeli people collectively are tired of constantly having to justify their existence, constantly having to live in fear of terrorist rocket and mortar attacks, homicide bombers...constantly living in fear of the Muslims.

Benjamin Netanyahu predicted that if Israel allowed Hamas to rule in Gaza, if the Jews were expelled from land taken in 1967, it would not restore calm. It would not bring peace.

Instead it would create a terrorist state, a ten-thousand man terrorist army, and a rabid group of people dedicated to the destruction of the Jewish nation.

The "peace-at-all-costs" leaders of Israel, those in Kadima and Labor, Tzipi Livni and Ehud Barak were for this expulsion...they were for making Gaza, Judenrein.

(Wow such a provocation! Such an insult to the Muslim community...having to deal with Jews living among them and the Jews not having to bow, walk on a different side of the street or pay the Jizya Tax!)

Also for those who don't know, Under Islamic law, jizya or jizyah is a per capita tax levied on a section of an Islamic state's non-Muslim citizens, who meet certain criteria. The tax is/was to be levied on able bodied adult males of military age and affording power,[2] (but with specific exemptions,[3][4] though these were discarded at various points in history[5]). From the point of view of the Muslim rulers, jizya was a material proof of the non-Muslims' acceptance of subjection to the state and its laws, "just as for the inhabitants it was a concrete continuation of the taxes paid to earlier regimes."[6] In return, non-Muslim citizens were permitted to practice their faith, to enjoy a measure of communal autonomy, to be entitled to Muslim state's protection from outside aggression, to be exempted from military service and taxes levied upon Muslim citizens.[7][8][9]

I suppose Jews should be on their knees thanking the Muslims for their kindness eh?]

The Arabic term jizya appears in verse Qur'an 9:29, but the Qur'an does not specify jizya as a tax per head. According to Paul Heck, the jizya taxation seems to be a developed form of the Sassanian practice of taxation.[10]

So, thinking it would make peace, and caving in to international pressure from the U.S., the E.U., Russia...basically everybody, Ariel Sharon expelled the Jews from Gaza. And voila...war. Land for peace?

How about this: The Muslims understand strength. They understand the concept of "No Compromise." I understand this concept as well. It's my God against theirs. An unconquered Jewish people in their midst is a slap in the face of Islam! Yes, Mahmoud Abbas and Mashaal and I, we would understand one another. Neither of us would give an inch. We might hate one another, and we would strive to make sure the other failed, and they at least, would try to make sure I died. But we would, in the end, respect one another.

No one understands the Western mewlings of the E.U., Russia or the U.S.A.!!!

No one understands the insane, self destructive policies of Ehud Barak, Ehud Olmert and Tzipi Livni!!!

The entire Muslim world looks at Israel's leaders as weak, and ripe for conquest. Israel's destruction is nigh! Just listen to Ahmadinejad! They'll wipe Israel off the map they say. Why? Because they view Israel as weak. They will finally beat the Zionist entity they believe. Allah is stronger than YHVH! Stronger than the God of Israel they think.

(And for you Christians out there, you could not be farther from the truth if you believe that Allah simply is the Arabic word for God, and that he is the same as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.)

This is a religious war, and until the West understands this, they will not understand anything else about the Middle Eastern conflict. And, sadly, they will continue to be the so obvious hypocrites they are.

Israeli Troops Fight Jewish "Settlers" in Hebron

Today, Israeli troops fiought Jewish settlers in Hebron.

But when we say “fought” what we really mean is that the criminal government of Ehud Olmert went in with some 600 IDF troops to remove Jewish “settlers” from their home in Hebron.

And who are these “Settlers?” They are Jewish families...some with babes in arms.

"This is an act of scoundrels, Jews evicting Jews from their homes," settler leader Daniella Weiss told Israel's Channel 10 TV.

Olmert's lapdog, Mark Regev had this to say: "In Israel, the rule of law prevails and not the rule of the vigilante."

I wonder just who is the vigilante here? It is obvious, that like the evil King Manashe of Judah, Olmert has no regard for the Torah, no regard for HaShem...no regard for his fellow Jews. According to the Torah, ALL of what is called “The West Bank”, ALL of Judea/Samaria, ALL of Gaza, ALL of the Golan Heights and more...belongs not to the Jewish people.

Instead of listening to G-d, Olmert...like a King...makes decrees and takes matters into his own hands. It is a case of the blind leading the blind.

It really does not matter what the Nations think or say. It only matters what G-d has to say about the matter. G-d gave the land to Avraham, Isaac, and Jacob. There was no mention of this land belonging to Ishmael, no mention of it belonging to the sons of Esau, no mention of it belonging any longer to the original Canaanite peoples. There is no mention of the land belonging to Islam.

For Olmert to cause IDF soldiers, fine young men and women...fine Jews...to go in with stun grenades and tear gas to remove Jewish families with young children from land that according to the Torah BELONGS to them...is reprehensible.

Oh that the day would come when Olmert and the cowards who support him would get their just desserts. If I were Olmert...I would honestly fear the day I would have to stand before the Living G-d to give an account of myself.

And for those soldier and police who are only obeying orders...they should remember that there were plenty of Goyim in the 1930's who were only obeying orders too when they hauled Jews away.

Black Friday, Mumbai and Batman

Three separate issues. The first two are important, the other...not so much. The last is just another indication of a sordid, sick society in general.

Like most people in America, I enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving. I've always loved this holiday...it's full of family, friends and great food. But this super materialistic, retail piece of crap, this"Black Friday", sickens me.

Rampant consumerism at its worst, the day after Thanksgiving has become nothing less than a testament to the greed and posturing that so many in the world hate about the United States. It's a symptom of moral decay.

What's wrong with going out and finding great deals? After all, the retail stores cut prices dramatically and things once considered too expensive can now be bought. But wait! What's the catch? Lines...huge, heaping masses of people camping out, waiting for stores to open from two-o-clock in the afternoon the previous day...shoving, cursing, meanness...just to get that brand new Visio wide screen television on the cheap! It's worth it some think.

But then, you see headlines like:

"Wal-Mart worker dies after holiday shoppers knock him down" (AP)
and
"Two People Dead In Black Friday Shooting" Two shot dead at California Toys-R-Us (Fox News)

It's just sickening. Who needs stuff SO badly that they have to rush a store, break down the doors and trample the employees to death? Who takes guns into a KID'S toy store?

It's a testimony to wickedness. I wonder if things were like this during the days before Noah entered the ark?

What about these terror attacks in Mumbai? Not in America, certainly...but who really thinks that those type of attacks could not, and would not, occur here in the USA? I read a story about the terrorists from the Associated Press...and did it talk about those killed and the injustice done to these innocent people? Did it talk about the families that now have no father or mother, no brother or sister, no child coming home? No. You know what it DID talk about? Giving justifications for the killings, justification for the murders...and what was the justification?

"Muslim Rage". Oh! So the Muslims are angry...is that all? Oh, ok. No big deal! They're angry so it's ok to go on a killing spree. All praise the most merciful Allah. Right?

Gimme a break! Piece of crap "news" stories like these are not fit to be printed, and all I can say is I am proud of the Indian Hindus who have stood up to Islamic terrorists in a way that I am certain American PC'ers cringe at.

Finally, this last bit also says something for the decay of our American culture. DC Comics is killing off the original Batman. Bruce Wayne is set to be killed in this new story-line by guess who? His own dad. The writer, Grant Morrison had this to say:

"I like to keep the story twisting and turning," he added. "So what I am doing is a fate worse than death. Things that no one would expect to happen to these guys at all."

Ok, yeah. Lets just have the most horrific and terrible ending to what so many kids have held up as a hero. Let's make Batman's dad be the real villain behind so much of what Batman has fought against, and lets have Batman die fighting his own father. Tragic? Nope. Disgusting.

Just bad writing, looking for shock value, and from that...sales.

DC Comics...I'm ashamed of you.

All hail the new American Messiah, our wonderful Kenyan 12th Mahdi! With a majority of Americans swept up in an almost religious fervor...many exhibiting a Messianic Cult-like behavior...I wonder if quite soon we shall not all be required to learn and memorize the 5 pillars of Islam.

Will the press really be free? Or will any journalist who dares question or challenge our new messiah be censured, kicked off of Air Force One, and replaced by representatives of publications that do nothing but sing the praises of our uber (supposed) peacenik, who has a fondness for overly aggrandizing himself?

Will our newly anointed American savior be that congenial guy who just "Gosh shucks" wants to befriend the little guy, and make sure he gets his fair share? Will he actually be that benevolent and beneficent guy he appears? Or will he be rather vindictive...and will we see that CHANGE! He kept harping about and that everyone so foolishly flocked to...without knowing exactly what CHANGE he was talking about.

But then, no one really believed Americans were smart. Obama was banking on it.

One thing is certain...America just might be about to get what she deserves.

Why? Cause we genuinely just replaced the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob with a guy who we know next to nothing about, and who at least claims not to be a Messiah...but a super-man.

What an awful thing it might be when the majority of Americans wake up one morning to find out that Obama is neither.

Israeli Snap Elections

I think the very first topic I should talk about right now is Israeli politics. I haven't blogged in quite a few months. In fact, not since back in June of this year. It is now late October. Lots has gone on in my personal life since then, so my apologies in not putting out anything new in the intervening months.

Now, on to the topic at hand: Snap elections.

It's about freaking time, in my opinion. When it is widely known that the general Israeli public is disheartened by the road Kadima has led the nation down, it would have been a tragedy if Foreign Minister Livni had been able to form a majority government. The reasons for her failure to form such a majority coalition is due to her refusal to grant the Ultra-Orthodox party Shas, its demands for increased family allowances, and a guarantee that the future of east Jerusalem would not be negotiated in peace talks with the Palestinians.

While I have often criticized Shas for its blatant corruption and greed...(and hypocrisy)allin the name of furthering Torah study...I am pleased with their stance on East Jerusalem. I have viewed the ultra left-wing, extremist views held by the leaders of Kadima (and yes, I know that Sharon was a former Likudnik!) such as Olmert and Livni, to be nothing short of traitorous to the Jewish State.

Shas's motives might not be in the right place, but the end result is still the same.

Forcing Livni to call for early elections now, is the right thing for Israel. The way the Israeli political system is set up, while it IS a democracy, is not truly a representative democracy. All too often, the average Israeli voter is disenfranchised, and the political party rules supreme. The voter votes for the party rather than for the individual...and the party decides which internal members rise to the top.

If this is the way it must be until some courageous Israeli politician pushes for a fundamental change...one that WOULD make the system more representative of the people..early elections will, at a bare minimum...bring the Likud back to power.

At a time when it seems even President Bush is willing to bargain with Bashir al Assad, utilizing the Golan Heights and the complicity of the Kadima party as his bargaining chips, (for those that don't know, the Golan Heights is strategic land that belongs to Israel, and the USA should have no right to offer it to anyone, anywhere, in any way, shape or form)...it seems to me that it is high time for an Israeli leader to come to power that has the strength to cut America's leash...say thanks for being an ally...(but really...BE an Ally! And stop telling us what to do!)...and to do what is right for Israel as a nation...and what is right for the Jews.

Just remember to tell Bibi: We the people of Israel cannot afford another set of Oslo Accords....

Energy Crisis

Wow...

So, gas prices have hit above $4.00 per gallon, and they are expected to continue to rise.

Everyone gripes, and moans and groans demanding that the government DO something about it all. (And it should.) BUT!

The North American and European public really needs to do the following so that our citizens do not have to choose between being able to buy the gas necessary to get to work, and feeding our kids.

1. Stop driving all over the damn place! Ride a bike, take a walk and only drive when you have to. Carpool! The gigantic oil energy demands of the Western developed countries is a bit ridiculous.

2. Punish OPEC and the oil companies by putting price caps on gasoline and diesel. (Of course...that might lead to OPEC reducing output which would lead to long lines like we had in the 70's.) But so what? The Saudis and others have been made wealthy off of us...we DO have the power to hurt thier wealth. We also have the power to invest in alternative energy. What will OPEC do when we no longer are reliant upon their oil? Mmm? I wonder.

3. Demand that our governments truly invest in alternative energy and make it a national priority to move away from petroleum based technologies. There are already a number of inventions and ideas in the market but the oil industry has squelched them. Lets not allow that to continue!

4. In the meantime, we should demand that our government (At least here in the USA) allow off-shore drilling, thereby reducing our need for foreign oil. We should also demand that more refineries be built here, and allow incentives for individual investors who want to invest in American oil refineries. Then, once our dependence on foreign oil has been reduced, we can begin the process of moving to other technologies and once more, provide incentives for businesses, individuals etc. to move away from petroleum based technology to something else more efficient and much more clean.

Right now, in the USA at least, one should be able to buy gas from Valero which, I believe, is the only Gas Station that offers gas that does not buy foreign oil.

I am completely for hurting the Saudis, the Iranians and Venezuelans in any way, shape or form monetarily. Every single one of these countries are backwards, human rights abusing, and we continue to make them rich which allows their aweful governments to continue in the courses they've taken.

I think the above methods would, at least somewhat, help to solve our current economic energy crisis.

Politics and a Music Video

Hey there folks,

Well, it's now obvious that Mike Huckabee did not go on to win the Republican nomination for president. That was pretty much a foregone conclusion, but I was still hoping against hope. Too bad, I say.

Now we are stuck with supreme liberals in the form of Obama and Hillary, and a wishy-washy moderate/liberal (except when it comes to Iraq...and then he's just like George Bush...and when it comes to Israel, where again he's just like George W.) in the form of McCain.

What's wrong with the American political parties? Well, the problem is not the political parties...although the two biggest are pretty much alike in most respects these days. The problem is the road blocks the two major parties place in front of third parties...whether growing or stagnating, large or small...in order to prevent competition on the ballot. Making it really hard to gain ballot access is a nasty tactic the Republicans and Democrats have resorted to, so that Socialists, Communists, Environmentalists, Constitutionalists, Libertarians and more...all niche parties cannot compete. That's just wrong. The two major parties are just not THAT inclusive.

Well, I am done with my political ranting for the moment. I have to shout out about a music video I saw on YouTube.com. The video was freakin awesome. I'm not much into boy bands (I like my Rock-n-Roll) but this video was visually beautiful. I just know teenage girls would be frothing at the mouth over it.

Huckabee Alone Supports Israel

From a Jewish perspective…the candidate for President of the United States should be explicitly obvious. Sadly, I don’t think that is the case. Of those still in the race, it is my belief that Mike Huckabee, a former Baptist minister, is the only candidate that truly supports the nation of Israel.

He alone sees the security of Israel as a necessity…and is not willing to compromise the safety of the Israelis for a “legacy” wherein there is a false peace that is not worth the paper it is written on…and which would be forged at the expense of the long-term safety of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel.

He does not support the vision of George W. Bush…another man who proclaims to be a Christian, but who obviously does not read the Bible his faith is founded upon.

To hear Mike Huckabee’s views on the “Two-State” solution for yourself, please view the following:

Only those Jews who happen to be part of the so-called “Palestinian” Arab’s apologeticist camp (ala Peace Now), would think Huckabee’s views are the wrong ones. I am certain Hillary and Obama will find plenty of support among them.

But for those who think McCain is good for Israel, let me just say that I believe he would follow President George W.’s plans for the region…which means he would NOT be good for Israel.

My support, if for no other reasons than the ones given above…goes to Mike Huckabee.

New Hampshire Debates

Well, I watched both the Republican as well as the Democratic presidential debates in New Hampshire.

I enjoyed watching both, but I don't think that the debates have swayed me much in terms of who I think I am already going to be voting for.

On the Republican side, I think most would indeed, carry on the legacy of the Bush administration.

I think this is especially true of Rudy Giuliani...who's entire arguments last night continued to bring mention of Ronald Reagan (a greater man than George W. Bush could ever hope to be). I think the same is true of John McCain. Although the man has some honorable stances, I don't think he will go on to win the Republican party's nomination, and if he did...I am not sure I could vote for him. I just can't abide the idea of maintaining the status quo in Washington. And...McCain's ideas regarding illegal immigration really DO smack of Amnesty no matter how one looks at it. If the illegals are not deported...even if they have to pay a fine or whatever...it's a slap on the wrist. It's not what's "Right."

I can't see Fred Thompson being anything more than the lackey of the oil industry. He is definitely the friend of big business, corporate greed...and yeah...he's the "Man", that so many want to damn. The same is true of Mitt Romney...although Romney is definitely more suave than Thompson.

Out of all the Republicans, I found myself drawn to Mike Huckabee and to Ron Paul. Huckabee was the most succinct and eloquent of all the Republican contenders last night. I thought his ideas held some very real merit.

Ron Paul has something just about everyone could like. The liberals would love his "Lets withdraw from Iraq immediately...lets get out of that war." Libertarians (Like myself), would love the idea of "Lets return the American central government to a rigid adherence to the Constitution...and lets end so many of these Welfare State programs that are going on.) After all, those things ought not to be the responsibility of the government.

Things like pregnancy counceling clinics, soup kitchens, community job searches...all these things ought to be the responsibility of faith based communities. You want something good for your community? Get out there and live your faith and see what sort of changes can be made! That's YOUR responsibility...not that of the central government.

Republicans can like the fact that Ron Paul is fiscally conservative and fights governmental waste and overspending.

See? Something to like for everyone.

I'm leaning toward Ron Paul.

On the Democratic side...

Wow. Bill Richardson should have stayed off the stage. His was just a lot of NOT answering Charlie Gibson's questions, but rambling on about "It's Kids! It's being kind to your neighbor! It's Reducing carbon dioxide emmissions!" Yikes...no plan given whatsoever. To be fair, he was right when he mentioned that he was the only one on the platform among the Democratic candidates who had balanced a budget....

John Edwards was right. Hillary would be nothing more than a repeat of her husband's presidency. She is the Democratic status quo...the Democratic dinosaur. Of course, I personally think she is screamingly to the left of Bill.

To be fair to her as well though, she had some valid points, and hers was the only somewhat sensible take I heard when it came to foreign policy. Sadly, I know how she stands on the issues of Israel. I seem to remember her kissing Yassir Arafat's wife..and bemoaning the plight of the poor "Palestinians".

Though a Democrat...she would certainly carry on Bush's plan of a Two State solution to the problems in the Middle East. (Hey! Two States in the Biblical heartland will cause PEACE to well up among the Sunnis and Shi'ites fighting in Iraq! Cause don't you know...the Jews are the reason they are fighting each other.)

Barack Obama looked completely incompetent when it came to foreign policy to me. He never clearly answered Charlie Gibson's questions and when it comes down to it...if defending the country against Nuclear terrorism...the man would do just like Bush has done....if Musharraf didn't fit in or comply with American demands to help in the "War on Terror", the Obama would go in guns blazing. Of course, that's not until after he talked to Musharraff first...as if that's any different from what Bush has done in the past.

I liked John Edwards the best out of the Democratic candidates. But while I am sure he really "feels" for the American middle class, and it's super personal for him, (and to be fair here, I actually believe him), I didn't see any clear plan from him either.

Now, the debates are an aweful place to lay out detailed plans. So going to the candidates web sites and taking a look at how they stand on the issues is really, to me, the best way to figure out whether they line up with your own beliefs and stances.

Anyways!

If I were calling winners I would say:

Mike Huckabee wins Republican debate.
John Edwards comes on strong and wins Democratic debate.

Giving In To Islam Seems to be a Trend

It is sickening to me that the British government felt that they had to suck up to the Sudanese government in order to secure the release of British teacher and national, Gillian Gibbons. Talk about major wuss’s. Of course, I really don’t think the American government these days would have done much better. For some reason, everyone and their neighbor feels they must capitulate to, placate, and otherwise calm the raging Islamic community.

For the Oh so horrible “offense” of allowing students to name a teddy bear “Mohammed”, a common name among Muslim men, Gillian Gibbons was initially sentenced to a whipping with 40 lashes and then at least six months in jail. If anyone knows anything about whippings, 40 lashes could have killed the fifty-four year old woman. And six MONTHS of jail in a third world, Muslim country?

All for letting some kids name a teddy bear Mohammed?

Has ANYONE ever seen Christians flip out if a kid happens to name their stuffed animal Jesus? How about Jews freaking out over a teddy named Moses? Both groups might get upset, but none of them would impose disgusting, harsh sentences on people. They might moan and groan but that’s about it.

If the Brits had had any guts whatsoever, they would have done what was RIGHT. Tell the Muslims where they can shove it, get a military special ops team in there to extract the teacher, and tell the entire world to go sit and spin if they have a problem with that.

Personally, I am getting sick and tired of the world getting shoved around by Islam.

Annapolis Summit: Israel Submit, or Die.

I would really like to know what Condoleeza Rice is smoking. It's obviously some good stuff.

"Pass the Chronic won't you please?"

Her assertions that it is "time for the establishment of a Palestinian state," and "We frankly have better things to do than invite people to Annapolis for a photo op," are just amazingly stupid. Perhaps this goes hand in glove with the fact that her boss is also incredibly stupid, or else malicious when it comes to Israel in particular, and the Middle East in general.

True, the U.S. really should have better things to do than invite people to Annapolis for a photo shoot. But those things should not include forcing the establishment of yet another terrorist state in the Middle East.

There is already a "Palestinian" state. It's called the Kingdom of Jordan.

Once again, I have to bring in the picture of a rabid poodle on crack. This, ladies and gentlemen is Condoleeza Rice. Jumping up and down, drooling at the prospect of ruining the Jewish nation for the purposes of going down in history as "bringing peace to the Middle East." Not just this, but it is obvious that the Bush administration is desperately trying to get this done before his term in office is over. If he can't get it done, well then history will view him as a failure in not just this, but in most aspects of his Presidency. He most certainly will go down as one of the most unpopular Presidents ever.

But now, instead of seizing an opportunity to at least appear somewhat savvy, and telling the Arabs where they can stick it...the Americans are falling all over themselves in an effort to cave to every demand the Muslims want. All in the name of making peace.

However, this like so many other Arab Muslim "negotiations" is an all or nothing deal. Submit or die.

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is moving boldly down the rabbit hole. Next week, Rice is due back in the Middle East for meetings in Jerusalem and Ramallah. The purpose of her upcoming visit, like her previous ones, will be to pressure the Olmert government and the Fatah terror organization to reach "substantive agreements" that she'll be able to present to the world at her peace summit in Maryland next month.

It is far from clear what American interests Rice is advancing with her unswerving effort to reach a peace accord between Israel and Fatah. Indeed, Rice's efforts are detrimental to US interests in the region.

On Tuesday, 77 senators signed a letter to Rice regarding her plans for the summit. Among other things, the senators called on the Arab states, which Rice hopes will participate, to "recognize Israel's right to exist and not use such recognition as a bargaining chip for future Israeli concessions."

The senators' warning was well placed. Far from cooperating with the US, the Arab world is undercutting its policies. Not only are the Arabs - including Egypt and Jordan - distancing themselves from Israel; in a direct slap at the US, the Arabs are subverting the US's goal of isolating Hamas. Rather than blackball the jihadist movement, the Arab states led by Egypt and Saudi Arabia are devoting themselves to bringing about a rapprochement between Fatah and Hamas.

Unfortunately, due to Rice's missteps, the US today has little influence over the Arab states. Washington's primary diplomatic leverage over the Arabs stems from its ability to confer legitimacy on them. The US could have used this leverage if it had stated from the outset that it would only invite states to the Middle East conference that support the US's goals of isolating Hamas and accepting Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state.

But rather than condition their invitation, Rice and President George W. Bush made it clear from the outset that they want Arab states to participate in the summit. In so doing, the US turned the turned the tables on itself. Now it is the Arabs who by accepting or rejecting the US offer will confer legitimacy on Washington. Needless to say, in the interests of securing their participation, states like Saudi Arabia and Egypt will not be called to task for their sponsorship of Hamas or their hostility toward Israel.

So the US has been weakened just by organizing the conference. Yet, if there were any chance that the conference next month in Annapolis could yield real progress toward peace, then at least the Arabs' humiliation of Washington could be said to have been worth it.

Given that since the failed Camp David summit in 2000 the Palestinians have yet to make one substantive concession to Israel, it is clear that the only way the upcoming conference can succeed in advancing peace is if the Palestinians make some dramatic concession to Israel.

But there is absolutely no chance that the Palestinians will be forthcoming. Fatah Chairman Mahmoud Abbas led Fatah to electoral defeat to Hamas in 2006 and to surrender in Gaza in June. The only reason that Abbas remains in power in Judea and Samaria is because the IDF is maintaining security there.

The weak, ineffectual Abbas has no ability to agree to Israeli offers that Yasser Arafat rejected. In addition to Arafat's legacy, Abbas has Hamas to contend with. Any major concessions to Israel would imperil his rule - and his life.

Over the past week, Abbas announced his adherence to maximal Palestinian demands from Israel. These include the full transfer of sovereignty over the Temple Mount to the Palestinians; the complete surrender of Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians; and an Israeli acceptance of the so-called "right of return" that would force Israel to accept millions of foreign Arabs as immigrants within its truncated borders. Abbas's stances are a reflection of his inability to make any concessions for peace.

The failure of Rice's summit will directly benefit Hamas, which will be able to say that as it had warned, diplomacy is pointless. Understanding this, Abbas himself has let it be known that he is negotiating with Hamas. Then too, ahead of his meeting this past Wednesday with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Abbas dispatched his representatives to threaten Israel with war.

On Tuesday, Abbas confidante and representative in negotiations with Hamas Azzam al-Ahmed told reporters, "If we don't prepare well for the conference so that it will result in something positive, the repercussions will be more dangerous than what happened after the failure of Camp David."

Hamas is not the only actor that will be strengthened by the failure of the summit. Anti-American, jihadist forces throughout the Arab world will similarly benefit. Like Hamas, they will be able to say, "We told you so." America's humiliation will also weaken liberal democratic voices in the Arab world. With America perceived as weak and incompetent, they will feel compelled to join the anti-American bandwagon.

RICE IS dragging Israel with her in her madcap descent down the diplomatic rabbit hole - and not for the first time. Rice has a record of forcing Israel to sacrifice its security in the interest of her "peace" processes.

In November 2005, Rice coerced then-prime minister Ariel Sharon into accepting her agreement on the passages joining Gaza to Egypt and Israel. That agreement denied Israel the ability to prevent terrorists and arms from being smuggled into Gaza. This week's Egyptian agreement to allow some 90 Hamas terrorists - many of whom underwent military training in Iran and Syria - to enter Gaza was easily implemented in spite of Israeli objections in large part as a consequence of Rice's heavy-handed treatment of Israel.

So too, Rice forced Israel to agree to have US Lt.-Gen. Keith Dayton train and arm Fatah forces in Gaza. That disastrous plan led to the indirect US arming of Hamas when Fatah forces surrendered their weapons to Hamas without a fight in June. And of course, Rice was the architect of the cease-fire with Hizbullah last year that has enabled the Iranian terror group to rearm and to reassert its control over south Lebanon.

ALTHOUGH THE content of the talks is officially secret, various leaks make the depth of Israeli concessions clear. Israel is agreeing to transfer sovereignty over Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem to the Palestinians and to renounce its sovereignty over the Temple Mount; Olmert and his colleagues have agreed to surrender more than 90 percent of Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians while destroying most of the Israeli communities there; and Israel is agreeing to certain "symbolic" concessions regarding the so-called "right of return."

In short, Olmert is regurgitating former prime minister and current Defense Minister Ehud Barak's offers to Arafat at Camp David and Taba from seven years ago.

Many on the Left argue that since Israel offered these concessions in the past, the fact that the government is returning them to the bargaining table today is nothing to get excited about. This is untrue.

There is a huge difference between the situation in 2000 and today. Seven years ago, Barak's offer of territory was based on the expectation that in exchange for territory the Palestinians would eschew terror and live at peace with Israel. Today, after seven years of war that was largely directed by Fatah, after Hamas's takeover of Gaza and Iran's takeover of Hamas, this expectation is no longer realistic. By offering Barak's concessions for a second time, Olmert isn't simply offering land. He is sending the message that Israel neither expects nor demands that the Palestinian state live at peace with Israel.

Perhaps Israel's greatest diplomatic failure since 2000 has been its failure to disavow Barak's offers and remove them from the negotiating table. Once Arafat refused Barak's far-reaching concessions and chose instead to launch a war against the Jewish state, Israel had numerous opportunities to make clear these concession were no longer on offer. Disavowing them is crucial not simply because they are diplomatically unwise. They are strategically suicidal.

As Israel's experience in south Lebanon and Gaza show clearly, areas that Israel vacates become terrorist enclaves. Given Abbas's embrace of terrorism and his political weakness, it is absolutely clear that an Israeli withdrawal from Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem will render these areas terror bases as well. Yet here the consequences will be far worse that those of previous withdrawals. An Israeli surrender of Judea, Samaria and parts of Jerusalem will divest Israel of the ability to defend itself.

Although theoretically attractive, it is impossible to partition Jerusalem between Arab and Jewish neighborhoods because there is no geographical distinction between Arab and Jewish neighborhoods. Beyond that, if Jerusalem is partitioned, the Arabs with Israeli ID cards will move to the Jewish neighborhoods and Arabs from Judea will flood the Arab neighborhoods. Far from strengthening the Jewish character of the Jewish half of the city, a partition will destroy Jewish Jerusalem. The Jews will flee, and the eternal capital of the Jewish people will be transformed into an Arab city.

As for Judea and Samaria, not only would their handover transform 250,000 Israelis into internal refugees, it would leave 80% of the citizens of the truncated Jewish state within mortar and rocket range of the Palestinian state. Moreover, an Israeli relinquishment of the areas will clear the way for Arab armies to enter the Jordan Valley unopposed. The path from there to the Mediterranean is a short and easy one.

Given all of this, it is manifestly clear that by succumbing to Rice's obsession with summitry, the Olmert government is playing with fire. It is committing Israel to negotiating positions that deny the country the ability to demand that the Palestinians come to terms with the Jewish state and live at peace with it. And it is rendering strategically suicidal seven-year old offers the starting point of all negotiations for years to come.

On Wednesday, the State Department announced that Rice's conference is being postponed until the end of November to give the parties sufficient time to "prepare the groundwork" to somehow ensure the summit's success. Also Wednesday, Olmert and Abbas reportedly agreed that the conference would be nothing more than the starting point for future negotiations.

It can only be hoped that these approaches will be combined. All negotiations should be postponed until after the summit, and the summit should be delayed for weeks, then months, then years. Otherwise, in the name of "promoting peace," Rice and her Israeli underlings will foment a new war.

A cliched truism heard particularly following major terror attacks or ahead of summit meetings holds that "Peace is made with enemies." Israel is spoiled for choice. It's friends we're lacking. And with whom would you rather sit down and discuss how to run your neighborhood?

The diplomatic scene is huffing and puffing as it struggles to reach November's summit meeting, not that the heights are so dizzying. The expectations have been lowered since President George W. Bush dramatically announced the new initiative - or what passes as new in the international peace arena - in his July address. It is hard to maintain optimism about a breakthrough when it's not clear who will be invited, who will agree to attend, what will be on the agenda, or even what the aim of the gathering is.

The latest peacemaking drive relies on the principle of harnessing moderate forces. That's moderate as in Wahhabi Saudi Arabia. Bush is hoping that Riyadh can be relied on to rein in hostile forces in the Gulf and basically bring about world peace - even though it itself does not recognize Israel's right to exist and hardly seems to be on better terms with Syria or Iran.

At the heart of the problem of the planned summit is just who is a friend and who is an enemy, and indeed, exactly with whom Israel is meant to be making peace.

As historian Guy Ma'ayan put it in an opinion piece in Ma'ariv this week: "The festive declaration on the existence of a Palestinian partner for a permanent solution seems to have been taken from some delusional satirical sketch, or, at best, [will be] the subject of Barbara Tuchman's next book."

In The March of Folly, Tuchman set out three criteria that distinguish true follies from, say, ordinary incompetence on the part of any particular ruler: contemporaries must perceive the foolishness; a better course of action must have been available; and the course of action must have been pursued by a group rather than an individual over the course of more than one political generation.

The crunch, of course, is the different perceptions of what would be a better option than tying Israel's fate to a leader like Mahmoud Abbas, whose situation among his own people is so precarious that he dare not venture into half of the territory he is ostensibly meant to represent. Were Ehud Olmert and Abbas to enter Gaza City together, Hamas would have a hard time deciding which is public enemy No. 1.

We have tried Oslo I and Oslo II, and many cities in Israel bear the scars to prove it: memorials set up to commemorate ordinary citizens blown up on buses, in restaurants, wedding halls and other places of entertainment. Not to mention the psychological scars.

Abbas and Olmert might be able to get along OK (for summit small talk they could have a friendly chat about the problems of being stunningly unpopular politicians before getting down to the hard stuff like borders, refugees and Jerusalem). The question is whether Abbas and the Hamas leaders can agree on anything. While Olmert and Abbas might be friendly enough to prop each other up politically, Abbas and Ismail Haniyeh are clearly not even on speaking terms.

The Post's Khaled Abu Toameh on October 1 revealed the extent to which Abbas is willing to go to get at Hamas - via a video hoax of an honor killing that did take place, but in Iraq, not Gaza as the Fatah narrative had it. (The question of Palestinian fabrications for the media has reemerged this week, too, with the charge by the director of Israel's Government Press Office, Danny Seaman, that France 2 TV station staged the events surrounding the death of Muhammad al-Dura in Gaza in 2000.)

Even before the summit, there have been discussions about the value of releasing Palestinian prisoners to help Abbas in his fight against Hamas. IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi uncharacteristically threw his cap into the arena by criticizing Olmert for handing over prisoners while Hamas continues to hold kidnapped soldier Gilad Schalit in Gaza.

As one astute Post reader pointed out in a letter, it's all very well for Israel to make a gesture to the Palestinians in honor of Ramadan, but what goodwill did the Palestinians show Israel in honor of Rosh Hashana and the Jewish holiday season which coincided with the Muslim festival?

The release of security prisoners, which has become almost as routine as the arrest of the terrorists in the first place, is touted as a confidence-building measure. Unfortunately, when the foundations they are placed on are so shaky it is almost inevitable that someone is going to get hurt when the confidence-building blocks come tumbling down, even if the blocks aren't so solid.

As Post columnist Caroline Glick noted: "No mention is made of the fact that there is something terribly wrong with Palestinian society which views these attempted murderers as heroes and champions of their cause. The fact that Abbas says there is a direct link between his political strength and the freeing of these terrorists is not viewed as significant."

Peace talks, far from being a friendly get-together, have a habit of exacerbating the very conflicts they are meant to end: Not only the Oslo Accords led to an outbreak of Palestinian terrorism; the "Second Intifada" in 2000 has as much to do with the Camp David talks as Ariel Sharon's ill-fated visit to the Temple Mount. And just this week, slightly overlooked as a "foreign" story, was the news that at least 10 peacekeepers had been killed in an attack in Darfur. They were the well-intentioned victims of the latest round of fighting between rebels and Sudanese government forces, each apparently trying to improve their position ahead of a peace conference scheduled for later this month in Libya.

It's not that Israel and its Arab neighbors can't make peace. Both Egypt and Jordan have managed to maintain ties, not necessarily cordial but at least not confrontational. The two countries are now as concerned as Israel - if not more so - about the spillover of the internecine Palestinian fighting.

But the Hamas-Fatah divide is reminiscent more of the fractured Lebanon of Amin Gemayel with which Israel tried to make peace in 1983.

A peace summit has its place: But perhaps we should wait and see if the Palestinians are able to agree to live in peace with each other before we make what Olmert has already said will be "painful concessions." After all, the Saudi-brokered Mecca Accord between Hamas and Fatah in February has failed miserably.

Focusing on safely reaching the US-sponsored Saudi-oriented summit meeting rather than addressing how to reach a sustainable peace is a bit like planning a spectacular wedding without considering the nature of the marriage. There is no shortage of "friends" to invite, but the honeymoon is likely to be extremely brief.

Michigan conservative leaders appalled

Des Moines, IA — In the wake of the exclusion of presidential candidate Alan Keyes from next week's Dearborn, Michigan, Presidential Debate, conservative leaders in the Wolverine State today criticized Michigan Republican Party Chairman Saul Anuzis, whose neutrality in the presidential race has been repeatedly called into question. (See footnote.)

"I think it is shameful that someone with Dr. Alan Keyes' experience in government and credentials in the conservative movement is being kept out of the debate," said Judy Zabik, Genesee County Republican Party Board member. "Voters in Michigan and across the country deserve to hear what this man has to say about where this country is and where it's going. He brings a principled, moral perspective to this race that nobody else brings."

When Keyes officially entered the presidential race on Sept. 14, Michigan's newly-created Sept. 11 deadline for inclusion on the party's list of recognized candidates submitted to the Secretary of State had already expired.

Keyes supporters across the state have begun to gather the 11,569 signatures that are needed to assure that his name will appear on the GOP primary ballot. Under Michigan law, they have until Oct. 23 to complete the process.

However, the state party used inclusion on the Sept. 11 list as the criterion for participation in Tuesday's debate, which is being co-sponsored by the state party, CNBC, MSNBC, and the Wall Street Journal. Keyes supporters argue the party made an arbitrary rule that was impossible for Keyes or his people to meet — one with no connection to the former Reagan U.N. Ambassador's ability to qualify for the ballot.

Dr. Levon Yuille, Chairman of the Michigan Black Republican Council, said, "I'm appalled that the Party of Lincoln would not include a man of Dr. Keyes' stature as part of the upcoming debate, at a time when my party is being accused of being insensitive to the black community. I think we would give our enemy an unnecessary issue that we don't need in this election. President Bush has made a concerted effort to reach out to the black community, and hopefully the Michigan Republican Party would reflect this concern and do the right thing."

Yuille added, "Alan Keyes has been a stalwart national leader on a broad range of pro-life, pro-family issues for many years. He's also extremely knowledgeable in the areas of national defense, foreign policy, and economics. This debate is supposed to be about economics, I'm told. I hope the state party will reconsider their decision and invite Dr. Keyes to participate. The perception by many that he is being kept out because of the partisan wishes of the state party leadership is very real."

Ambassador Keyes, the only African-American in the Republican presidential field, participated Sept. 27 in Tavis Smiley's PBS "All-American Presidential Forum" debate in Baltimore, Maryland, and in the "Values Voter" debate in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Sept. 17.

During the Baltimore debate, which centered on issues of concern to the black community, Keyes commented that those Republican candidates who failed to attend "didn't show up at the Values Voter Debate, either — which, of course, sent a very negative message to the people who are interested in the issues that were discussed there."

This week, Ambassador Keyes expanded on those remarks by commenting that "some Republican leaders obviously don't seem beholden to the people. To serve their own ambitions, they disregard the people's right to hear from all the candidates before choosing the Republican standard bearer. It's a question of the integrity and the openness of the political process. How can people make the best choice for America if they are not even allowed to consider it?"

Thoughts on Andrew Meyer, the Cops who Tasered Him, and the University of Florida

I find the abuse of power shown by the police in tasering student Andrew Meyer at the speech by Senator John Kerry at the University of Florida, extremely disturbing. In fact, I find that the police in America have become too powerful, and the American people have allowed them to do so. It seems to me, that the Police themselves often seem to be “Above the Law”. Good Ol’ Boy systems of dealing with one another, one hand washes the other, keeps corruption in high places…still there, in high places. Those cops who come in to the force act like nothing more than hired thugs, but watch out Americans…these thugs have a uniform, they carry guns (and tasers), and they’ve got a badge to prove they’ve got authority.

(Should we also give them Jack Boots I wonder?) I bet they all could goose-step with the best of those who like to curtail individual freedoms.

I would like to say that even if Andrew Meyer happened to be playing a prank, even if he spoke too long and went over his allotted time, even if he happened to ask infuriatingly stupid questions, physically removing him as the Police did is reprehensible. The thing is, I do not believe that the manner in which the police behaved is a rarity. In fact, when one watches the television show “Cops”, one regularly sees these jack-asses all puffed up with themselves, acting as macho as they can, (including the women), all acting like adrenaline junkies, itching for a “suspect” to take down.

There is such a thing as the Constitution here in the United States. At least there used to be. I am sure that it has been eroded beyond any sort of recognizability in the last sixty years, but the principles in its amendments are still readily available to read:

1. The first amendment of the United States Constitution states:

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Were the Police violating the 1st amendment rights of Andrew Meyer? Did he say something some people just didn’t want heard? I don’t personally think so. What I think happened is that as mentioned above, some thugs wearing uniforms took removing him after his allotted time a little too seriously and abused the power they were given.

But what about Amendment 4 to the U.S. Constitution?

“A seizure is not constituted by merely approaching the individual on the street or in another public place, and asking him if he is willing to answer some questions, or by asking him questions if he seems willing to listen, or by offering in evidence in a criminal prosecution his voluntary answers to such questions. The person approached, however, does not have to answer any questions under these circumstances; he can simply walk away.[15] He may not be detained even momentarily without reasonable, objective grounds for doing so; and his refusal to listen or answer does not, without more, furnish those grounds.[16]

A person is seized within the meaning of the Fourth Amendment only when by means of physical force or show of authority his freedom of movement is restrained, and in the circumstances surrounding the incident; a reasonable person would believe that he was not free to leave.[17] If the police are questioning someone, and they remain free to disregard the questions and walk away, there has been no intrusion upon the person's liberty or privacy, and for Fourth Amendment purposes--there has been no seizure.[17]”

I would say that the Police definitely seized Andrew Meyer, without good cause.

I also think the University itself should be taken to task for even thinking that the Police were in any way doing their jobs.

To sum up, the cops have too much power. There needs to be some major overhauls of the Executive Branch of government from the top on down. Law enforcement needs good, decent, CLEAR minded individuals who CARE about the American people. They should remember the whole “To PROTECT and SERVE” part of their job description.

These cops that tasered Andrew Meyer were doing neither.

Secret Deals

Whether or not Dr. Guy Bechor is correct in his reporting that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is secretly making a deal with the Arabs residing in Judea/Samaria and Gaza that would give away approximately 6,250 square kilometers, (all of Judea/Samaria, AKA the West Bank), Gaza, and divide Jerusalem, it remains a fact that there is nothing Olmert is trying to give away now, that Ehud Barak did not attempt to give away to Arafat in 2000 at Camp David.

Then, as now, the Arabs want everything, and are not satisfied when the Jews give them practically everything they ask for. But because it is not, in truth, EVERYTHING they asked for, the Arabs act as if Israel is putting stumbling blocks in front of the so-called “Peace Process”.

Shouldn’t Israel have learned by now, that the goal for the Arab in Israel (Oh, excuse me, the future Islamic State) is not peace. The issue is not Arab nationalism. The issue is the Muslim belief of the pre-eminence of Islam over Judaism. Because Islamic rulers once ruled over the area now held by Israel during an interim period during which the Jews were in Exile, Islam cannot abide the thought that do not now control the same area. This is because it means Allah does not reign supreme.

This is a fact the Muslim cannot acknowledge. It is a war between the G-d of Israel, and the god of Islam. (And no…the two are not now, nor ever were, the same.)

Ehud Olmert is placing himself squarely on the enemy’s side. He is making himself an enemy of HaShem. As it says in the Tanach in the prophet Yoel:

I don’t think I would want to be an enemy of HaShem. I also think Ehud Olmert would do well to take a moment and reflect on who he is siding against.

The Jews's Responsibility

President Bush and Condoleeza Rice have done it again. They have pushed for a “Two-State Solution” to the Middle East “problem”. It seems they, along with the rest of the world have forgotten that there was a virtual civil war amongst the so-called “Palestinians” and Gaza was taken over by the terrorist group Hamas. Fatah, that moderate Arab group that moderately wants to drive Jews into the sea has control in Judea/Samaria, the Biblical heartland of Israel. It seems the Bush Administration has forgotten that the kingdom of Jordan was originally established as the original “Palestinian” State.

And now the U.S. State Department has endorsed the Saudi Arabian “peace” plan of 2002 which calls for Israel to retreat to its pre-1967 borders. It is becoming apparent that the U.S. is leaving its claims of friendship for the Jewish nation along the road-side of expediency. It is no longer in vogue to be a supporter of the Jews right to the land that the Bible both Jews and Christians believe is the inspired Word of God claims was given to the descendants not just of Abraham…but of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Ishmael was never part of the equation when it comes to the Land of Israel.

Oh! But then the so-called Palestinians do not claim to be descended from Ishmael. They claim to have sprung from the seed of the original inhabitants of Canaan. (Who, by the way were not Philistines either.) Those Canaanites who lived and remained after the Hebrews conquered the area after leaving four-hundred years of slavery in Egypt eventually intermarried with the Hebrews and became a part of the ethnic group that became Israel. The Philistines were interlopers from across the sea…and they were not Semitic peoples.

If the truth were told, the descendants of Ishmael are the only true Arabs. The modern day definition of who is an Arab being anyone born and raised speaking Arabic not-withstanding. The so-called “Palestinians”, if the truth were told are a mix of Egyptians (Not Arabs) since Egypt existed well before Abraham, and descendants of Babylonian peoples from Iraq. (These peoples are all called Arabs now because the Arab tribes, under the Islamic fervor of Jihad waged war across the region and won. Once Islam was forced on these peoples, Arabic became the dominant language, Arabic culture became the dominant culture, and hence…today these peoples call themselves Arabs.)

But, I digress….

As I was saying above, the United States is casting off its former support of Israel. Once again, the U.S. State Department along with the Bush Administration is calling vocally for the dividing of land God gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The foolish, head-strong, very unpopular, ultimately unwise leadership of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is threatening Israel’s very existence through making “gestures of appeasement…bending on such issues as the so-called “Palestinians” right of return, making no efforts to make certain Jews in Israel are safe from either terror attacks or a possible coming war with Syria, and all the U.S. seems capable of is patting Olmert on the head like the good, whipped dog he is, while taking all the good bones from his dish and giving them to the rabid, slavering maw of the Islamic forces within the Greater Israel area. (Indeed, the U.S. has become an appeaser of evil in the entire Middle East and has begun humbling herself, not to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…that God that the U.S. founders found it necessary to invoke even upon all currency of the nation…but to Islam, and the demon god Allah.

What is the answer for Jews in the United States? Shall we moan and groan to our Congressmen who by and large care nothing for what really happens? Do Jews leave the fate of their brothers and sisters in Israel up to the decisions of the Gentiles?

In reality, the future and fate of the Israelis and Jews inside the United States is not truly the responsibility of the Gentiles of any nation. If a Gentile is a Christian or a Noahide, it is their God given responsibility to bless Israel in order that they be blessed. But, it is the responsibility of the Jew to do what God would have the Jew do…and that is to no longer make his home in the lands of exile. It is the responsibility, and right of the Jew in North America, Europe, and all the corners of the world in which the Jew has lived for thousands of years to now come to the home which God gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the beginning. It is the Jew’s birthright, and one which God has sprung into being in our days. It is the responsibility of Jews outside Israel to make the decision to make the inside of Israel his home. It is then the responsibility of the Jew to seize the gifts God has given and to never give one inch to those who have no Promise from God regarding those gifts. God has given Ishmael his own gifts…the Land of Israel has never been one of them. The gifts God has given the Jew, are not gifts given to any other people (lest people think I am being unfair…consider the continents of the Earth…all the land outside the Land of Israel belongs to the rest of the World…they are gifts given by God to the peoples of the Earth, all Non-Jews…why should they covet Israel?)

It is the responsibility of the Jew, like King David, to place all his trust in HaShem, and stand before the Goliaths of the world…all those nations who condemn, who cry out in anger that the Jew has a home, who shove, and bully, and dictate…and say “The borders of the Biblical Israel are our borders once again. You may live anywhere outside these borders…you are welcome as our guests. But this is our Land.” And to the Jew’s enemies say “The borders of the Biblical Israel are a line in the sand. Do not cross it. You may come that far, but no further.”

Then, like David, collectively the Jew must take his sling and with five smooth stones stand and defend the beautiful present HaShem has given.

BBC Wrong...Jerusalem IS Israel's Capitol

I find it sickening that the BBC and Fraser Steel, BBC’s Head of Editorial Complaints have publicly apologized that they “mistakenly” called Jerusalem, Israel’s capitol. The West in general, from the conservatives to the liberals, all are grossly wrong in maintaining that somewhere…heavens!...anywhere other than Jerusalem is Israel’s capitol.

And why?

To appease Islam. The question becomes, is Islam worth appeasing? To most the answer is obvious. Hell yeah it’s worth it! Why? Because Islam is violent, and the good Muslim will lie in wait for you if you happen to be a Jew, heck even a Christian, behind every bush and tree and wait for the stones to cry out for the Muslim to come kill you.

They’ll do it in the most vicious manner too. Saw your head off. Cart you off on their shoulders, plop you on a sand dune and put a bullet in your head at point blank range, then drag your body through the streets triumphantly while screaming at the top of their lungs “Alahu Akbar!”

That’s why the West in its cowardice won’t recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s rightful capitol. That’s why pansy communications giants like the BBC and CNN refuse to this day to call suicide bombers what they are…murderers…homicide bombers etc. That’s why they still, to this day refuse to call terrorists what they are, instead calling them militants.

The West uses language that they try hard to make as un-inflammatory as possible because they are afraid that one day…Islam will come to call, and then there’ll be a reckoning.

Thankfully, even though Israel has had bad leaders of late…at least Israelis KNOW that Jerusalem is their capitol…and defiantly, and rightly so, they can tell Islam…and the West, as Islam’s whipped dog…to shove their insults and false notions as far up their collective ass as they possibly can go.

Bring Bibi Back!

With Ma'Ariv showing that the Likud would win 37 Knesset seats, and firmly place Benjamin Netanyahu back into the office of Prime Minister, I think it is about time the Israeli Public and the American Jewish community firmly place their support behind a man who clearly has stated that Israel's security is a main goal. While there are some on the right who view Netanyahu as simply an opportunist...much the same as Ariel Sharon, the time is right to get rid of the idiots in Kadima.

Netanyahu is not a Hawk. A Hawk desires war. Netanyahu simply desire security. This is something any sane Jew would desire. Indeed, it is something any sane person whether Jew, Christian or something else entirely ought to desire.

I do not know if Bibi is the best possible candidate. But if he is willing to renounce Arik Sharon and Kadima''s failed policies of appeasement, land for peace, and removal of Jews from their own land...then perhaps the public should allow the Likud another chance.

Hello everyone. It has been some time since I’ve posted a blog. In the intervening period I’ve been quite busy with a number of other things, but with the publication of Israel’s Winograd Commission, it’s time that I step back into the blogging world for a moment.

The Commission laid blame for the failure of Israel’s military to sufficiently knock the ever loving crap out of Hezbollah in Lebanon last summer directly on the poor leadership of Israel’s Prime Minister, The outgoing Chief of Staff and the Defense Minister.

The Commission’s findings, to me at least, are not at all surprising. Many people, including myself knew these things before any sort of investigation was necessary. How did we know you may ask? Thousands of people across Israel…and even in the United States can point at Ehud Olmert and the leaders of Kadima in general and recognize that ever since Arik Sharon decided to split with the Likud, ever since they began their heinous “Disengagement” policy, the mass public has recognized that these leaders are not really “leaders” at all.

No indeed, they are followers. They are lap dogs of the international community. As soon as the Winograd Commission was published, the U.S. State department started bemoaning the fact that the political reality in Israel now was going to make it harder for the U.S. leadership to push forward a Two-State Solution.

Poor U.S. State Department!

I feel so sorry for them that their plans, which fly directly in the face of G-d who does not desire that any Israeli leader or other world power divide HIS land, are being hampered by pesky things such as anger at bad leadership. Too bad for the U.S. that they are upset that no one in Israel likes Ehud Olmert anymore. Too bad, that it is clear to anyone with any sort of rational mind that a Two-State solution is not the answer. Too bad, that people are waking up to the reality that Gaza is a terrorist hotbed of activity. The U.S. State Department lists Iran as its top terrorist sponsoring country…but Gaza is the top geographical area of terrorist living quarters.

Too bad, that people are recognizing that Hamas and Fatah are not that different from one another. So one is moderate you say? So to the U.S. State Department and much of the world, I suppose it’s ok to kill Jews and indeed even Israeli Druze and Bedouins moderately?

Too bad for the world that Israel, and any sane person in the world is being made aware that there is no such thing as a Two-State solution!

This is because every sane person knows that there is a Twenty-Two state Solution. There is ONE JEWISH ISRAEL, and there are Twenty-Two Arab Muslim Nations!

Israel is coming to know that Israel is the home for the Jews. The Arabs in Gaza? Let one or all of the other Arab Muslim nations welcome their “poor Palestinian” brothers and sisters.

With the findings of the Winograd Commission, may President Bush and the U.S. State Department find nothing but frustration in the implementation of their so-called “Road Map to Peace.”

Three American Bitches

Well, lets add Nancy Pelosi to our lists as yet another (we all knew this really) complete and utter idiot.

Are all female politicians morons? I am beginning to think so. Actually, that’s not fair. Most politicians are morons. It just so happens that there are fewer women politicians in general and it so happens that the ones who are in the spotlight most often are idiotic, dumb bitches.

Let me count them in order of idiocy:

Hillary Clinton
Condoleeza Rice
Nancy Pelosi

Those are the top three, listed in no particular order. Personally, I feel they all share the credentials to give them the number one spot of American Bitch.

Lets examine them closely. I’ll start with Nancy Pelosi the Democrats’ poor choice for Speaker of the House. She’s visiting Syria you know…to speak with Bashir al Assad. Frisky Congresswoman isn’t she? Playing with known terrorist supporting leaders. Maybe she gets off on the idea of talking to a “bad boy”. Maybe she feels like it gives her some youth again to rebel against her own country by having a dialogue with one of our enemies.

Moron.

And from this, we can now determine that she most likely admired the Baker Commission’s ideas about incorporating Iran and Syria in the Middle East “Peace Process”…getting them to help out in Iraq….(Letting Syria interfere in Lebanon just a bit more…make things difficult for the Israelis etc.) Allowing Iran to be perceived as perhaps just a touch more legitimate in its quest for nuclear power (Nuclear Weapons designed to wipe out their enemies. Period.)

Then there is Hillary Clinton. The robot candidate for President of the U.S.A. lacking all of her husband’s charisma, the woman cannot work a crowd to save her life. She lives in a Global Village, but her local neighborhood hates her guts. Sad. But it’s because she too is a bitch. She’s been known to do worse than Nancy Pelosi you see. Instead of just talking with terrorist leaders, she has indeed made actual friends with them, kissing Yassir Arafat’s wife in sympathy when the old Muslim made wild accusations about Israelis poisoning “Palestinian” children with AIDS and other vile things. And of course, Hillary has always been a militant feminist who would take a scalpel, fist a pregnant woman with it, and glory in her ability to end an unborn baby’s life if she thought it would help her get votes. Besides…the world is too crowded. She would have done it for the good of the Village.

While not quite as vile as the first two, Condi Rice still gets an American Bitch award. She runs around with the American State department, hell bent on trying to make certain the Bush administration’s “Road Map to Peace” is fully implemented (Never mind that the “Palestinians and the rest of the Arab World never ONCE lived up to any of their agreements…past or present.) before Bush’s tenure is over in the White House. She is like a frenzied poodle, frothing at the mouth, running from Middle Eastern nation to Middle Eastern nation screaming: "Now? Huh? Huh? Are you gonna follow the Road Map NOW??? Huh? Huh?" making the U.S. go from being an ally to Israel to being a heavy handed, and somewhat I am sure, unwelcome “mediator”. In order to secure a legacy, Condi and her boss the Bush man are willing to sacrifice the Jewish State.

All it does is secure Condi’s place as an American Bitch.

The U.S. could do with some real Stateswomen committed to truth, justice and the American way (The OLD American way.) just as it could with male politicians these days. But when you see these freaks in the media spotlight every single day, it makes one sick and it makes one feel sorry for the millions of women to whom these three women politicians give a bad name. It makes one decide that it’s time for a rant.

Dangerous Stupidity of Israeli Leaders

I've been speaking with my friend Aaron in Haifa, and there are some important things that leaders in Israel need to consider.

In Israel, if you are over the age of 30 you are not required (And they won't take you if you volunteer) to serve in the army. You are also not allowed to buy and own a gun.

This is cause for concern if the Israeli army were ever called upon and reserves were strained on different fronts. It would behoove potential olim therefore to take weapons training classes here in the States, or whatever home country you come from, self defense and/or martial arts courses, anti-terrorist courses and any military tactics courses that you may be able to find and attend. I personally plan on doing so.

The reason for this, is that if the IDF WERE strained at any point to the point of breaking, there would be need of every man and woman old enough to carry weapons and fight. You can be sure the Arab enemy does the same thing...only their aim is to kill the Jew.

The potential for a giant war is on the horizon, with Iran, Syria the terrorist armies of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Fatah etc. in Gaza right in Israel's back yard...the list goes on.

The leaders in Israel are being very stupid in their strategy. Where is the pioneering spirit that fueled the Haganah? There are thousands and thousands of new immigrants who will not have the benefit of Israeli army training because they are "too old."

(I would like to remind folks that too old for the U.S. Army to ENLIST is over 35 years of age.)

Are these Olim who happen to be over the age of 30 supposed to just rely on the strength of the Israeli army as it stands today? What of protection of the cities should the army be forced to fight on multiple fronts?

Shouldn't there be some immigrant units trained and ready to fight if need be....that encompasses men and women up to the age of 50? And even those over the age of 50 could still serve as guards. Does the IDF have any sort of "back-up" plan should the IDF be devastated?

Israel needs to wake up, and Olim need to be prepared.

It's the Israeli government's responsibility to make sure the people are safe. But we've all seen the poor job Kadima has been doing. Olmert could not be trusted to keep a peanut butter sandwhich safe with his jelly spined willpower when it comes to dealing with Arabs.

Personally, I am not leaving MY safety up to Olmert and his ilk...and indeed it's not just his ilk. It's most Israeli leadership these days. It seems to me the spirit of the original pioneers in Israel has been squashed through long years of struggle, and through fear of international opinion.

When I make Aliyah I plan on being prepared for any eventuality...despite the stupidity and folly of Israel's bad shepherds.

If you are planning on Aliyah, I would urge you to do the same.

If you are an Israeli Leader, I urge you to help change the mentality of defeat that permeates the government.

So what’s the big deal with Ann Coulter and her “inflammatory” gay slur against Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards?

The Associated Press goes out of its way to call the word “faggot”, the
“f-word.”

Faggot is the f-word? Huh? Since when? I always thought the F-word was “Fuck”.

It amazes me that the media can be so hyper-sensitive over perceived slurs to the gay community when they, on a regular basis, have no problem in lessening the pain and hurt of Israelis by omitting details of reports, downright fabrications by Reuter’s photographers etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum.

It all depends on the media outlet’s political leanings as to what is truly important to them.

I can’t seem to recall the media getting their panties all twisted up when
comedian Bill Maher said something to the effect of “A lot of people would live
if the assassination attempt on Dick Cheney had been successful”.

I suppose the American public should not be surprised at the liberal media (and now yes, idiot conservatives too like John McCain and Michelle Malkin) for condemning Coulter for her remarks at the Washington Conference concerning John Edwards.

The media has a hard time using the “t-word” word too. To them, a “terrorist” is always a “militant.”

I guess that is why the American Public, and probably the public in every country around the world now, has to learn to call a “faggot” a “Gay Person.”

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t advocate treating any particular group of people wrongly, and I really don’t think it was cool for Coulter to call John Edwards a faggot. But I also happen to think I am just freaking sick and tired of the media’s (amongst others) hypocrisy and ridiculous political correctness.

Long live Ann Coulter and yeah…I guess Bill Maher too.

Freaky Riders Slipped Into Defense Budget Bill

While I have been a supporter of President Bush in his foreign policies for the most part, except for what I see as his administration's lies concerning Iraq and indeed, the need to invade Iraq at all, ( considering the fact that those who perpetrated the attacks on New York City, and the Pentagon on 9/11 were over 90% Saudi Arabian), his domestic policies are dangerous.

That's right. The Bush administration's domestic policies, supposedly designed to keep the American public "safe", double as a means of gathering unprecedented power for the Presidency. His domestic policies seriously smack more and more of things very freakily reminiscent of Nazi Germany and sometimes of Soviet Russia.

For doubting Republicans, I would like to post the following. Lest the Democrats think I am on their side, I have a word of caution. Do you honestly believe a Democrat, if offered new powers gained under the Bush Administration...would look at those powers and then suddenly scream:

"Ohhhh Helllll No! These powers are too broad! They're going right back to the States and to the people!"

If you believe that they would you are living on another planet. Somewhere OUTSIDE this solar system, or another plane of reality.

John Whitehead recently wrote a shocking but very important piece for the Rutherford Institute.

I'm going to quote liberally from it.

This stuff is truly horrifying . . . "Prior to the elections that transformed the makeup of Congress, the Bush Administration pushed for the inclusion of two stealth provisions into a mammoth defense budget bill.

The additions made it easier for the government to declare martial law and establish a dictatorship."Did you catch that?

Key words: election time + mammoth + defense budget bill + stealth provisions.

Yes, that's a formula for something bad to happen. Sure enough, something bad did happen.

Whitehead continues . . . "Since the days of our Founding Fathers, when King George III used his armies to terrorize and tyrannize the colonies, the American people have understandably distrusted the use of a national military force to intervene in civilian affairs . . . Hence, as a sign of the Founders' concern that the people not be under the power of a military government, control of the military was vested in a civilian government, with a civilian commander-in-chief.

And the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 furthered those safeguards against military law, making it a crime for the government to use the military to carry out arrests, searches, seizure of evidence and other activities normally handled by a civilian police force

"So that's why it was snuck into a "mammoth" bill, at crunch time!

Resuming with Whitehead . . . "However, with the inclusion of a seemingly insignificant rider into the massive defense bill (the martial law section of the 591-page Defense Appropriations Act takes up just a few paragraphs), the Bush Administration has managed to weaken what the New York Times refers to as 'two obscure but important bulwarks of liberty.'

One is posse comitatus. The other is the Insurrection Act of 1807, which limits
a president's domestic use of the military to putting down lawlessness,
insurrection and rebellion where a state is violating federal law or depriving
the people of their constitutional rights.

Under these new provisions, the president can now use the military as a domestic police force in response to a natural disaster, disease outbreak, terrorist attack or to any 'other condition.'

According to the new law, Bush doesn't even have to notify Congress of his intent to use military force against the American people -- he just has to notify them once he has done so.

Sounds fun! This is, of course, because in an era of terrorism, we need strong leaders who act decisively, and sometimes, liberty must be exchanged for security, right? Wrong!

Whitehead continues . . .

"The main reason we do not want the military patrolling our streets is that under martial law, the Bill of Rights becomes null and void.

A standing army strips the American people of any vestige of freedom. Thus, if we were subject to martial law, there would be no rules, no protections, no judicial oversight and no elections."Whitehead draws two sound conclusions here:

1) "A fundamental principle of American government is to not trust public
officials . . . lest we forget, power has a tendency to corrupt; absolute power
corrupts absolutely."2) "Furthermore, the way this was handled proves that we
cannot trust government officials. By sneaking this provision in as a rider to a
larger bill, public debate and media attention were avoided.

Had the provision been openly discussed and debated, there would have been opposition and outcry. And it most likely would have been soundly rejected."BINGO!And that's why we need the Read the Bills Act -- to slow Congress down and require them to sweat the details; to end the practice of sneaking these riders into mammoth bills at the last minute, during crunch time.

Chances are, most members of Congress didn't know these provisions were in there. But we can't just count on Congress to do it's job. The public needs to be able to "read the bill" as well. That's why Read the Bills Act includes a provision that gives watch dog groups, talk-show hosts, and the general public -- YOU -- greater power as well. The Read the Bills Act requires a seven day waiting period to vote, AFTER the FINAL reading where the bill is posted on the Internet.

When Jonathan Pollard was revealed by America as a spy for Israel, the affair became pregnant with hostility to Israel and anti-Semitism in general. The Pollard case initiated a hurried visit of the American Jewish Leaders to Israel on Purim, 1987. In a Knesset debate on the Pollard affair, Rabbi Kahane spoke harsh words to the American delegation:

"They arrived in Israel on the holiday of Purim, the Biblical festival commemorating the deliverance of the Jews of Persia from the hands of Haman who sought their destruction. They came to Israel – not on the wings of eagles, but on the chill wings of fear of anti-Semitism.

"They" are the American Jewish Leaders who make up the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations and their hurried trip to the Jewish State was the direct result of the Jewish Establishment's real terror over the Jonathan Pollard affair. And the connection between these American Jews who arrived on Purim 1987 and the original Purim Jews, of Shushan, capital of ancient Persia, is surely one that smacks of Divine direction. Consider."

Respecting Past Agreements

It makes one wonder why the Arab public, Europe, or anyone else for that matter would consider the new Fatah/Hamas coalition government any different than a unified Hamas government was just a few weeks ago. Why should they, or anyone else feel that the United States or Israel should change their collective minds about dealing with a ‘Palestinian’ government that still does not recognize Israel’s right to exist?

A difference that makes no difference is not a difference.

Vague promises of respecting past deals with the Israelis are certainly not enough for anyone with a modicum of self-respect or knowledge of other, past ‘Palestinian’ promises (which were never kept) to live up to agreements that were made between them and the Israelis.

Do the ‘Palestinians’ think that Israelis are morons? If someone promises something…and then fails to live up to those promises…and that sort of thing happens over…and over…and over again, it becomes like the boy who cried wolf. No one will believe you. Expecting the world to believe the ‘Palestinians’ now, when they say (again) that they will respect past deals with Israel, is amazing.

It makes one wonder what planet the ‘Palestinians’ and yes, the entire Arab world is living on. It certainly is not planet Earth.

Sadly, these days I highly suspect that Europe and even England will shake their heads at what they will perceive as the U.S. and Israel’s obstinacy when “peace” is “obviously” right around the corner! How is it that Europe and England can be so very blind? Does it have anything to do with fear on the parts of the native populations who have allowed millions of Muslims to immigrate to their nations?

Does it have anything to do with the rapid Islamicizing of Europe and England?

It is telling when it is becoming common to hear the phrase “Londonistan.”

May the United States and Israel stand strong and hold the ‘Palestinians’, indeed the rest of the world’s collective feet to the fire and insist that all past agreements are honored to the letter, and if they are not, then the world should not be surprised when Israel and the U.S. refuse to deal with people who are liars and who so very obviously in many respects, whether a “moderate” (Abbas) or “extremist” (Haniyeh), have the blood of innocent Israelis on their hands.

Rejecting Changes to Law of Return

Maybe a beer or two as well. Prime Minister Olmert has done something worthwhile for the Jewish community of Israel and the Diaspora…at long last.

While completely inept when it comes to fighting terror, a man with the spine the consistency of Jell-O, at LEAST he has had the courage to stand up to Israeli Chief Rabbi, Shlomo Amar.

Rejecting Amar’s proposal to change the Law of Return was the best thing Olmert has ever done. Instead of narrowing down who can and can’t be a Jew according to one (ONE!) idiotic man’s opinion, Olmert has chosen to side with reason. Again…at long last. Too bad it’s not on many other subjects that would do Israel good.

If you are a convert, let me tell you something…a vast majority of regular Jews everywhere love you. You ARE a Jew, according to G-d, the Torah and your very desire to join yourselves to Israel.

I wonder if Amar remembers Ruth? Ancestor of King David, (Who is an ancestor of the coming Moshiach no?); Ruth was a Moabite…a descendent of Abraham’s nephew Lot…a Gentile. She married Boaz…a Hebrew and joined herself to G-d’s people.

If she could do it and be looked upon favorably by G-d, enough to allow her to be an ancestor of the Moshiach…who is Amar, or any other Rabbi to try and stop something that G-d himself allows?

Kudos to Olmert on this one.

Jonathan Pollard Rally/Protest

As everyone probably knows, (at least those who are interested in Israeli/American relations), American Israeli and American Naval Civilian Intelligence Analyst Jonathan Pollard was convicted of being an Israeli spy in the United States and received a life sentence in 1986.

I have posted here facts concerning the Jonathan Pollard case for those who are ignorant of what actually went down.

Jonathan Pollard was a civilian American Naval intelligence analyst. In the mid 1980's (circa 1983-1984), Pollard discovered that information vital to Israel's security was being deliberately withheld by certain elements within the U.S. national security establishment.
Israel was legally entitled to this vital security information according to a 1983 Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries.
The information being withheld from Israel included Syrian, Iraqi, Libyan and Iranian nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare capabilities - being developed for use against Israel. It also included information on ballistic missile development by these countries and information on planned terrorist attacks against Israeli civilian targets.
When Pollard discovered this suppression of information and asked his superiors about it, he was told to "mind his own business", and that "Jews get nervous talking about poison gas; they don't need to know."

He also learned that the objective of cutting off the flow of information to Israel was to severely curtail Israel's ability to act independently in defense of her own interests.

Pollard was painfully aware that Israeli lives were being put in jeopardy as a result of this undeclared intelligence embargo. He did everything he possibly could to stop this covert policy and to have the legal flow of information to Israel restored. When his efforts met no success, he began to give the information to Israel directly.
Jonathan Pollard was an ideologue, not a mercenary. The FBI concluded after nine months of polygraphing that Pollard acted for ideological reasons only, not for profit. This fact was recognized by the sentencing judge who declined to fine Pollard. (See the addendum for further details.)

Furthermore, on May 11, 1998, Israel formally acknowledged Jonathan Pollard had been a bona fide Israeli agent. This fact wiped out any remaining doubt about Jonathan Pollard's motives. Being an official agent is, by definition, the polar opposite of being a mercenary.

In 1985, his actions were discovered by the U.S. government. His instructions from Israel were to seek refuge in the Israeli embassy in Washington. When Pollard and his former wife sought refuge there, they were at first received and then summarily thrown out into the waiting arms of the FBI.
Jonathan Pollard never had a trial. At the request of both the U.S. and Israeli governments, he entered into a plea agreement, which spared both governments a long, difficult, expensive and potentially embarrassing trial.
Jonathan Pollard fulfilled his end of the plea agreement, cooperating fully with the prosecution.
Nevertheless, Pollard received a life sentence and a recommendation that he never be paroled - in complete violation of the plea agreement he had reached with the government.
Jonathan Pollard was never indicted for harming the United States.
Jonathan Pollard was never indicted for compromising codes, agents, or war plans.
Jonathan Pollard was never charged with treason. [Legally, treason is a charge that is only applicable when one spies for an enemy state in time of war.]
Jonathan Pollard was indicted on only one charge: one count of passing classified information to an ally, without intent to harm the United States.

15. Prior to sentencing, then-Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger delivered a 46-page classified memorandum to the sentencing judge. Since then, neither Pollard nor any of his cleared attorneys have ever been allowed to access the memorandum to challenge the false charges it contains-a clear violation of Pollard's constitutional rights.

The day before sentencing, Weinberger delivered a four-page supplemental memorandum to the sentencing judge. In it, he falsely accused Pollard of treason. Also in the supplemental memorandum, Weinberger advocated a life sentence in clear violation of Pollard's plea agreement. The implication that follows from Weinberger's false characterization of Pollard's offense as "treason" is that the country Pollard served, Israel, is an enemy state.

Pollard was shown the supplemental Weinberger memorandum only once, just moments before sentencing - hardly adequate time to prepare an appropriate defense to rebut the false accusations in it.
No one else in the history of the United States has ever received a life sentence for passing classified information to an ally - only Jonathan Pollard. The median sentence for this offense is two to four years. Even agents who have committed far more serious offenses on behalf of hostile nations have not received such a harsh sentence.
Pollard's attorney never appealed from the life sentence. The time to file for such an appeal was within ten days of sentencing. Years later, with a different attorney, Pollard filed a habeas corpus challenge to the sentence.

The Court of Appeals, in a two-to-one decision, rejected the challenge, largely on procedural grounds.

The majority placed heavy emphasis on the failure to appeal from the life sentence in a timely manner, and on the resulting far heavier burden faced by Pollard in seeking to challenge the sentence via habeas corpus. [Note: "Habeas corpus" is a procedure by which an incarcerated person may bring a court challenge to the legality of his or her incarceration - often long after the underlying case has been concluded.]

In a dissenting opinion, Court of Appeals Judge Stephen Williams called the case "a fundamental miscarriage of justice," and wrote that he would have ordered that Pollard's sentence be vacated.

In November 1995, Israel granted Jonathan Pollard Israeli citizenship. The official presentation took place in January of 1996. This publicly signaled to the U.S. Israel's willingness to accept full responsibility for Pollard.
U.S. government sources falsely accuse Pollard in the media of passing "rooms full of classified information" and "hundreds of thousands of documents" to Israel. This volume of information is an absurdity! Pollard would have needed to make numerous "drops" using a moving van to have transferred such a large volume of information. In actual fact, Jonathan Pollard made a grand total of eleven "drops" to the Israelis, using only a small briefcase to hold the documents.
The government used an insidious formula to exaggerate the volume of information that Jonathan Pollard passed to Israel. The formula was: if only one page or a single sentence of a document was passed to the Israelis, it was counted as if the whole document had been transmitted. Even referenced documents and sources were counted as having been transmitted in toto. Using this calculation, a single page could be counted as 50 hard-bound 500 page volumes!
There is no Mr. "X".

The CIA claim that another highly-placed spy in the U.S. had to exist in order to give Jonathan Pollard his highly specific tasking orders is a complete fabrication. On May 12, 1998 , in the same statement in which the Government of Israel publicly acknowledged Jonathan Pollard as an Israeli agent, it accepted full responsibility for him, and indicated its commitment to securing his release and repatriation to Israel.
Jonathan Pollard has repeatedly expressed his remorse publicly and in private letters to the President and others. He regrets having broken the law, and is sorry he did not find a legal means to act upon his concerns for Israel. (See Remorse Page.)
Jonathan Pollard has been openly linked to the Middle East Peace Process since 1995.

The Israeli government recognized long ago that Jonathan's sentence was unjust, that the documents he delivered to Israel did not remotely cause the damage that the prosecution claimed but never proved. As a result of this recognition, various Israeli administrations have negotiated, as a matter of basic fairness, to secure Jonathan's release.

Since 1995, within the context of the peace process, the US has repeatedly exploited the plight of Jonathan Pollard to extract heavy concessions from Israel.

However despite express promises made by the United States to Israel, Jonathan Pollard remains in jail.

It was the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin who, in 1995, first began openly to negotiate for Jonathan's release as part of the peace process.

Although President Clinton promised Prime Minister Rabin that he would release Jonathan as part of a Middle East peace settlement, the President refused to honor his promise after Rabin was assassinated.

Rabin's successor, Prime Minister Shimon Peres, continued to link Jonathan to the peace process, and even went so far as to include a spy swap proposal as part of the deal for Pollard's release.
The Wye Plantation summit is a prime example of U.S. exploitation of Jonathan Pollard.

Both before and again during the Wye summit negotiations in the fall of 1998, President Clinton promised to release Jonathan Pollard. Pollard was the deal-maker at Wye which enabled the accords to be completed.

At the last minute, with the eyes of the world focused on the Wye Accords signing ceremony which was about to take place in Washington, Clinton reneged on Pollard's release, creating a storm of negative publicity for Israel.
How the Wye fiasco came about:

In September, 1998, just before the mid-term Congressional elections, President Clinton (who at the time was facing impeachment hearings and in need of a foreign policy PR victory) asked Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to attend a three-way summit with the Palestinians at Wye River, Maryland.

Clinton knew that a successful summit at Wye just before the Congressional elections would be good not only for his image, but would also reap great political benefits for the Democrats in their bid to regain control of Congress. As an inducement to Netanyahu, Clinton promised to release Jonathan Pollard within the context of the summit.

Understanding the value of Jonathan Pollard for his own re-election bid, and needing him as a sweetener to sell any kind of "peace" deal to the Israeli people, Netanyahu ignored the entreaties of Republican friends like Newt Gingrich and agreed to attend the summit. (Gingrich would later repay Netanyahu by leading the Republican charge of slander and lies against Jonathan Pollard.)

Once the Wye summit was underway, Clinton quickly "forgot" his promise to free Jonathan Pollard and there was little Netanyahu could do.
Talks at Wye broke down over the release of Palestinian murderers with Jewish blood on their hands and over Israel's request for the extradition of Ghazi Jabali, the chief of Police in Gaza who was wanted for his role in planning and executing terrorist attacks in Israel.
To break the stalemate, the Palestinians suggested Jonathan Pollard as the solution. They proposed that Pollard be sold to Netanyahu once again: the US would give Jonathan to Israel in return for Israel's freeing of hundreds of Palestinian terrorists and immunity for Ghazi Jabali.

The US and Israel agreed to the Palestinian plan to swap Pollard for terrorists and murderers.

President Clinton personally worked out the details of the deal in a late-night private session with a Palestinian and an Israeli representative.

According to the deal, Prime Minister Netanyahu was to receive a side letter from President Clinton the next morning (one of approximately 30 side letters the Americans had promised) guaranteeing Pollard's release for November 11, 1998, one week after the US House elections.

The Pollard negotiation was the deal-maker at Wye which allowed the summit to be successfully wrapped up and a signing ceremony to be planned for the next morning in Washington, on Friday October 23, 1998.

Only hours before the signing ceremony, P.M. Netanyahu received all of the American side-letters that had been promised to him, except one - the one guaranteeing the release of Jonathan Pollard.

Netanyahu threatened not to attend the signing ceremony unless he got the Pollard side letter. Clinton said, "Trust me." Netanyahu, knowing he was about to be double-crossed by Clinton over Pollard for the second time, refused.

Netanyahu demanded that in the absence of a side letter of guarantee, Pollard should be freed into his custody immediately, or no signing ceremony. Arik Sharon supported Netanyahu and they threatened to leave Wye without signing the accords.

In order to take the pressure off of President Clinton, CIA chief George Tenet quickly leaked the news of Pollard's imminent release to the media in a deliberate - and ultimately successful - attempt to torpedo the deal.

He sent emissaries to Capitol Hill to hold emergency meetings with leading Senators and Congressmen to enlist their support in publicly denouncing Pollard's release. Many lies were told by the CIA emissaries about Jonathan Pollard to convince the legislators to act swiftly and in unison. Believing the lies, the legislators complied and began an unprecedented series of public actions to prevent the release of Jonathan Pollard.

Meanwhile at Wye, under heavy pressure and still fearful that Netanyahu would not back down, Clinton quickly negotiated a private fall-back position with Netanyahu: Clinton would publicly promise to do a "speedy review"of the Pollard Case and he would use that review to free Pollard a few months later, parallel to the release of the 750 Palestinian terrorists who were part of the price Israel had agreed to pay for Pollard.

Under heavy public pressure and betrayed by his own Minister of Defense, Yitzhak Mordecai*, who closed ranks with Clinton, Netanyahu folded and accepted this private deal. The signing ceremony was held in Washington as scheduled. *(Mordecai himself is now on trial in Israel in 2001 for sexual assault.)

Netanyahu's capitulation at Wye, the public spectacle of his being brought to heel by the Americans, and the lopsided deal he brought home from Wye now that Pollard was no longer perceived to be a part of it, would shortly cost him his premiership.
After Wye, the White House falsely accused Netanyahu of having injected Pollard into the Wye summit at the last moment.

However, eye witnesses to the Pollard deal at Wye, including the Israeli and the Palestinian who had negotiated the deal with Clinton and the former Israeli Cabinet Secretary, all later contradicted the White House version of events and affirmed that President Clinton had committed himself to the release of Jonathan Pollard as an integral part of the Wye Accords.

Note: Prime Minister Netanyahu was the first prime minster of Israel to agree to free Palestinian terrorists with Jewish blood on their hands. That is the price the Americans demanded for Pollard at Wye. To this day, this represents a keen embarrassment for Netanyahu and his party, even more so since he did not receive Pollard but the Palestinian murders were released nonetheless. That is why no official source from the Netanyahu government ever wants to publicly admit to it. They keep the details to a minimum, but all concur that Pollard's freedom was bought and paid for by "concessions"at Wye.

When Netanyahu returned to Israel after Wye, he created a firestorm of publicity by releasing 200 Palestinian common criminals from Israeli prisons.

The Palestinians were outraged, and insisted that these common criminals were not the prisoners that they had bargained for at Wye. The Americans angrily protested. Netanyahu reminded the Americans that the Wye Accords do not specify exactly which prisoners Israel must release. Critics wondered if the Prime Minister had lost his mind to antagonize the Americans this way.

Only those close to Prime Minister Netanyahu understood that this was Netanyahu's private, pointed reminder to Bill Clinton that if he was thinking of double-crossing him yet a third time over Pollard, he should think again. No Pollard, no release for the Palestinian murderers and terrorists.

Unfortunately for Jonathan Pollard, Netanyahu's government fell before he was able to act on this.

In a meeting with Netanyahu right after his electoral defeat in the Spring of 1999, Jonathan Pollard's wife, Esther, received assurances from the former prime minister that the new prime minister, Ehud Barak, had been fully briefed about what had been agreed to at Wye and about the fall-back position; that is to say, Israel had yet to free the 750 terrorists with blood on their hands and was still supposed to receive Pollard home in a "parallel gesture" from President Clinton.
Not long after Barak took office, the 750 Palestinian murderers and terrorists walked out of prison as free men. Jonathan Pollard remained in his American jail cell.

In an attempt to justify Clinton's reneging at Wye, a story was leaked to the press that George Tenet, a Clinton appointee, had threatened to resign as head of the CIA if Pollard were released.

The story, though not logical, sounded plausible and it became popular to cite the opposition of the American Intelligence community as the reason Clinton did not honor his commitment at Wye to free Pollard.

This was soon exposed as the lame excuse it was when Clinton freed a group of unrepentant FALN terrorists in the fall of 1999, in an attempt to improve his wife's popularity with New York State's Hispanic community in her election bid for the Senate. (See Senate Race Page.)

To this day, the same lame excuse continues to be used to justify the unjustifiable failure of Clinton to honor his commitment.

In September of 1999, despite strenuous opposition from all of his government advisors and agencies, President Clinton freed 14 unrepentant Puerto Rican terrorists, members of the FALN, charged with bank robbery and various acts of terrorism, including over 130 bombings in the US, and the deaths of American police officers.

Clinton ignored a solid wall of opposition from the Justice, Intelligence and Defense departments and Congress, invoked his powers of executive clemency and set the FALN terrorists free. In doing so, he unequivocally put the lie to the notion that any government agency might tie his hands or influence his decision in matters of clemency. (See FALN Page and Clemency Page.)

More than two years elapsed after Wye. President Clinton did no review. Jonathan Pollard remained in prison while the US continued to extract Israeli concessions for his release.
Those who still believed the myth that it was the American Intelligence Community that was tying the hands of President Clinton, also clung to the belief he would finally honor his many promises to release Jonathan Pollard - including the commitment he had made at Wye - at the end of his term, when he could do so without fear of political reprisal.

Beginning in 1991 Rabbi Mordecai Eliyahu, the former Chief Rabbi of Israel, and Jonathan's rabbi, offered himself to the U.S. Justice Department as Jonathan's guarantor. The offer was ignored.

Rabbi Eliyahu repeated the same offer every year after that in private letters to President Clinton.

Every offer went unacknowledged until the fall of 2000, when Esther Pollard received a letter from the White House indicating that the President was aware of the former chief Rabbi's offer and that it would be part of the President's consideration in reaching a final decision on her husband's case.

President Clinton never kept his promises.

When he left office in January 2001, Jonathan Pollard was not included among those that to whom Clinton granted clemency:

in spite of his repeated express commitments to Israel to free Pollard in return for numerous heavy concessions
in spite of his commitment to free Pollard as an integral part if the Wye Accords
in spite of the appeals of the Jewish community, and
in spite of the gross injustices of the Pollard case which include:

a grossly disproportionate sentence
a broken plea agreement
use of secret evidence
a false charge of treason
ineffective assistance of counsel
ex parte communication between prosecutors and judge
a lack of due process
a sentencing procedure infected by false allegations and lies

On his last day in office, Clinton granted clemency to 140 people. Many who received executive clemency had been convicted of very serious offenses, including murder, robbery and drug dealing. Some of those pardoned had served no prison time at all before being pardoned. Among those pardoned were Clinton's brother, and a former head of the CIA. (See Clemency Page.)

In September of 2000, Jonathan Pollard's attorneys, Eliot Lauer and Jacques Semmelman, filed a motion in the US District Court of Columbia to vacate his sentence.

The motion, supported by documentation, presents a compelling and very disturbing picture of serious government misconduct that went unchecked by Mr. Pollard's then-counsel. As a result of that misconduct, and as a result of his attorney's ineffectiveness Jonathan Pollard was sentenced to life in prison on the basis of false allegations, and under circumstances that violated his plea agreement. Since he was sentenced in 1987, none of Jonathan Pollard's security-cleared attorneys have been able to see the classified portions of the docket in order to challenge them in a court of law or to defend him in a clemency proceeding.

In September of 2000, Jonathan Pollard's attorneys filed a separate motion requesting that attorney Eliot Lauer be allowed access to the secret portions of the Pollard court docket. (See Legal Doc: Motion to Unseal the Pollard Record.)

On January 12, 2001, Chief Judge Norma Holloway Johnson denied the attorneys' request to allow Eliot Lauer access to the complete Pollard docket, upholding the government's claim that Lauer's seeing the secret portion of the record poses a risk to American national security.

U.S. State Dept. Hypocrisy

Has the U.S. State Department EVER been a friend to Israel? Not in recent memory.

In today’s news from the Associated Press, in an article written by George Gedda, The U.S. State Department makes the sour statement that “Israel likely misused American-made cluster bombs in civilian areas of Lebanon during the war against Hezbollah last summer….”

Talk about the nerve man! I wonder just how many American-made bombs have been misused in Iraq? I wonder just how many American-made weapons etc. have been, or will be misused by Egypt, or Iraq?

Egypt is the Middle East’s biggest Arab receiver of American weapons and armament. We all know when Egypt has war games that the “pretend” enemy is always Israel.

If the peace ever failed, it would be Egypt using American-made stuff against Israel.

But that’s not the issue. The issue is the hypocrisy of the United States State Department, led by Condoleeza Rice, a woman who constantly interferes in Middle Eastern affairs, sticking her nose where it is not only where it doesn’t belong, but also where it is completely and utterly unwelcome.

Of course, she does it mainly at the behest of George W. Bush who, like many others wants to go down in history as the person who brought peace to the Middle East and solved the Israeli-‘Palestinian’ conflict.

My gosh, I am so sick of the U.S. constantly acting like everyone in the Middle East, Arabs or Jews are their personal lap-dogs which they can call to heel at any moment.

The U.S. needs to get its long nose out of the business of the Middle East in general. Get OUT of Iraq and let the Iraqis deal with their own mess and create a country on their own. The American colonies didn’t allow France or anyone else to build the U.S. for them. They built it themselves after defeating England in war. Let the Iraqis build their own nation without the U.S.’s constant involvement. If Iran or Saudi Arabia or anyone else in that region wants to interfere, LET THEM! As long as they are busy fighting each other, the U.S. has less to worry about and can focus on rebuilding its military at home, fixing its own, internal problems etc. etc. etc.

The U.S. should get it’s fingers out of the Israelis’ pie as well. The Israelis in turn should stop relying on the U.S. for everything. They need to catch a clue, the U.S. is only a friend as long as you do what the Americans say.

It needs to be said that the American founding fathers did not want Americans to be engaging in foreign wars that tax the American people and American resources. America is not sovereign over the entire earth.

Arabs and Jews alike should be willing to tell the American State Department where to stick it.

Of Temporary 'Palestinian' States

It has been about three weeks since I last wrote a blog. That's primarily due to the holiday season, working on a short film, and dealing with car issues. But, thankfully I've not really gone away and now, having read this morning's headlines on CNN.com, I am back with a vengeance.

Our good buddy, that 'Palestinian' "moderate" Mahmoud Abbas has told U.S. Secretary of State Condi Rice that any temporary 'Palestinian' State is not wanted by the 'Palestinian people.' Of course, if I were of the ideological persuasion that Abbas and the rest of the Arabs who hate Israel are, I too would be opposed to a temporary State. This is because it would be seen as charity by the Western powers rather than a victory for Islam.

No, in order to save face, and in order for Islam to be proclaimed throughout the Middle East legitimately as the only pathway to Heaven and each man's thousand virgins, the 'Palestinians', whether extremists like Haniyeh or moderates like Abbas, must achieve a full 'Palestinian' State and it must be accomplished through Jihad or by a seeming position of strength whereby the Arabs "take' what they believe is rightfully theirs.

The problem here is that, of course, I am in full agreement with Abbas on this issue. There should be no temporary 'Palestinian' State. Here is where I diverge from agreement with him though, I don't want ANY 'Palestinian' State to exist. See, I don't think they have any right to the land that the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob gave to Israel over three thousand years ago. The world constantly forgets (on purpose) that the Jews have had a claim to the land and have legitimately (at least by a remnant of people) lived in the land for that entire period. They didn't always have control, but there HAVE always been Jews that lived there. And it is, in fact, our ancient kingdom.

I don't think the United States has the right to interfere in the region. I don't think that the likes of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and company have the right to ASK for the U.S.'s interference. Is the U.S. Israel's strong tower? Is the good old U.S.A. Israel's fortress? Her shelter? Her banner proclaiming safety? Is the United States willing to guarentee Israel's safety and if they are, is the U.S. entirely trustworthy?

How can it be when President Bush, though seemingly more pro-Israel than his good old dad is willing to push for a peace plan which would not bring peace, is willing to listen to people like James Baker and yeah his dad too, both of whom are famous anti-Semites? And while Americans originally supported the war in Iraq, they've come to the conclusion that the Bush administration lied to them about the reasons for war in Iraq. Should Israel trust an American administration that is willing to lie to its own people? Sure Saddam Hussein was evil, and sure Saddam was bad for Israel and I can't say I'm sorry to see him gone and Iraq lessened as a nation, but if the Americans don't even see truth to rhetoric concerning their war, why in the world should Israel believe much of anything the Americans have to say either?

The vast majority of Christian evangelicals in the States, though friends of Israel by and large have somehow convinced themselves that while Jesus is at G-d's right hand, George W. Bush is at G-d's left. If Bush decides that his peace plan for Israel is the only way to go, are Israel's evangelical friends going to continue to stand by what the Bible actually says concerning the birthright G-d gave to Israel or will they follow their new shephard? After all, Bush is supposed to be a great Christian leader right?

What Israel needs is a backbone these days. What Israel needs is the ability to tell not only the Arabs, but the West and the entire world if need be to just go and take a flying leap. Because it's not the world's opinion that matters. It's not even the people of Israel's opinion that matters.

In the end there is only One who's opinion counts and it is Hashem and He alone that Israel should be listening to.

I mean, what if all these things are tests of Israel's faithfulness? Every time we ever leaned on anyone else for strength, or listened to the moanings and groanings of people who are pissed off at Israel over something we KNOW our G-d either gave us or told us to do, we became a broken and oppressed people.

Let's pass the tests given us. And the rest of the world be damned.

Jews Suffer Fools Gladly

Well! No discussion of the release of Corporal Gilad Shalit between Ehud Olmert and Mahmoud Abbas lest the subject undermine new “peace” arrangements between the ‘Palestinians’ and Israel.

Disgusting. How DARE Olmert, the spineless piece of Jello that he is, make arrangements for any kind of peace when the issue of Gilad Shalit is part and parcel of why the current situation between Israel and the ‘Palestinians’ even exists. Was there not a new conflict born BECAUSE of the abduction of Gilad Shalit?

So Israel wants to strengthen Fatah in relation to Hamas. But, what Israel forgets is that Fatah, although called “moderate” by the Western media, has always held up “struggle” and “jihad” almost to the extent Hamas has. This group too is no friend to Israel. They just happen to be able to speak from both sides of their mouths and allow themselves to tell Israel and the West what they want to hear in order to gain what they want in the end.

In the meeting between Abbas and Olmert, One of the most significant steps agreed upon was the release of $100 million in taxes to Abbas after all Palestinian funds were frozen by Israel after Hamas came into power almost a year ago. In addition, the two discussed easing of restrictions on passage of goods from Gaza, allowing for the passage of 400 trucks daily, both steps helping to ease the economic strife within Gaza.

On security issues, the two leaders agreed to consider expanding the ceasefire to the West Bank, however, Prime Minister Olmert expressed his concern over the continued fire of Kassam rockets from the Gaza Strip and said that Israel could not show restraint for long if the violations of the ceasefire continue.

Oh…so Olmert has a “concern” over Kassams being fired into Israel does he? I think he has a very strange way of showing that “concern.”

Somehow I doubt that a majority of that $100 million will be spent on relieving
the humanitarian crisis the ‘Palestinians’ are suffering. Somehow I sense that
the money will be well spent on continuing the “struggle against occupation.”

Foolish leaders Israel has these days.

On top of this…when Iran is becoming a huge threat, the United States is stabbing Israel in the back, halting arms sales and transfers to Israel. All this, while James Baker and company advise appeasement to Ahmadinejad.

Does anyone else besides me see the need for a strong, wise replacement of Olmert and his idiotic ilk?

It seems, truly, that Jews suffer fools gladly.

Israeli Left: Living In Another Reality

This morning as I was reading the morning news in the Jerusalem Post I was not surprised to see Shimon Peres again talking, purposefully spewing a most unrealistic viewpoint into Israel’s media.

The headline of the article was 'Peres Predicts Eventual Peace With Syria'. It was written by Paula Slier. In this article Peres does indeed predict eventual peace with Syria, reminding all and sundry that no less than four Israeli Prime Ministers offered to give up the Golan Heights to the enemy in exchange for peace. Unexplainably, Syria never went for the deals offered by those Prime Ministers.

Hmmmm…lets see…what could those reasons be?

Ah! I know. They don’t just want the Golan Heights you see. In another article in the J-Post this morning entitled ‘Syria Building “Death-Trap” Villages’ written by Yaakov Katz, the IDF has come to the realization that the villages Syria has been building along the Syrian/Israeli border are intended to draw Israel into an “asymmetrical war”.

They are basically replicating the tactics of Hezbullah in Lebanon. Some of the villages have no people living in them, while others do…but those that do also have commando troops being moved into them along with medium to long range missiles designed to hit deep into Israel’s heart land.

When it comes to peace talks, Syria has no desire to speak directly to Israel. They just want direct talks with the United States of America ABOUT peace in Israel. They will say “Yes, yes, we want peace…but here’s what we want you to do…put pressure on Israel to give up the Golan Heights…while leaving us in the clear to continue to fortify and militarize our border. Never mind what the purposes for that are!” Shimon Peres was at least mildly sarcastic and mildly correct when he suggests that if you want to make real peace with Israel; shouldn’t the Syrians be speaking to the Israelis about that desire?

Are the actions of Syria those of a nation that wants peace with its neighbors? Of course not! Besides, everyone knows Syria is in bed with Iran and we all know Iran has declared that Israel’s destruction is close at hand. It seems to me that perhaps Syria is maneuvering itself to a position that would allow it to play a significant role in Iran’s plans for Israel.

But, the article by Paula Slier just goes to once again prove in light of the article by Yaakov Katz, that the Israeli left is not only willfully putting on blinders to reality, they have actually left this plane of reality and have moved on to an imaginary wonderland

Neturei Karta: A Disgrace to Judaism

I cannot begin to express my disgust with Neturei Karta: Jews United Aainst Zionism. Representatives of these people are actually taking part in Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust Conference fiasco and that makes me incredibly angry!

How dare these Jews take part in this circus? How dare these people basically mock the suffering of millions of their brethren by even acknowledging this conference? As Fox News has reported, Ahmadinejad has repeatedly called the Holocaust a “myth” and has said Israel would be “wiped off the map.”

This wouldn’t pose a problem for the Ultra-Orthodox Neturei Karta though. It’s no wonder they are partaking in this embarrassment to the international community. These people have a mistaken religious view that since the Messiah himself (who is currently unrecognizable if he’s here) did not personally set up the State of Israel, then Israel itself is illegitimate. The same views are held by the much larger group the Satmar Hasidim.
These people hold, in one of the utmost idiotic views I have ever heard, in agreement with their late Rabbi, Joel Teitelbaum, that Tractate Kesubos 111a of the Talmud explains that God and the Jewish people exchanged three oaths at the time of the Jews' exile from ancient Israel:

* That the Jewish people would not ascend to the Holy Land as a group using force;
* That the Jewish people would not rebel against the governments of countries in which they lived;
* That the Jewish people would not, by their sins, prolong the coming of the Jewish Messiah.

To these ideas I have this to say:

How does anyone know that it was not G-d who caused Israel to come back into being? Because secular men helped it to come into being? Can Hashem not use ordinary, even unbelieving men for His purposes? If not, is He really a G-d worth following? If not, He doesn’t sound like He’s too powerful to me...it sounds like He would only be powerful to those who believe. Further more, isn’t Hashem the G-d of all mankind? Wouldn’t that include the secular whether they believe in Him or not as well as the datim?

I say He is the G-d of all Jews whether those Jews acknowledge Him or not. Therefore He would perfectly be able to cause Israel to come into being as it did in 1948 against all human odds. The fact that there is a nation called Israel now is a miracle.

The Neturei Karta, along with the Satmar Hasidim are denying G-d’s power, and this disgusts me!

They said that these were not the guardians of the city but its destroyers, which prompted the citizens to ask who, then, could be considered the guardians. The rabbis answered, "The scribes and the scholars," referring them to Tehillim (Psalms) Chap. 127. (Jerusalem Talmud, Tractate Hagiga. 76c).

The name was given to a group of Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem who refused (and still refuse) to recognize the existence or authority of the so-called "State of Israel" and made (and still make) a point of publicly demonstrating their position, the position of the Torah and authentic unadulterated Judaism.

Hmmmm....you know, when the Talmud begins to contradict the history and viewpoint of the Tanach, I think I will have to abide by the Tanach. In fact, I am more and more finding that the Oral Tradition is unacceptable to me. I was raised in the Conservative tradition. I cannot consider myself secular, nor would I want to. But, more and more I am thinking Karaite Judaism is the more correct form of observance.

Throughout the history of Israel there have had to be warriors. When G-d gave Canaan to the Israelites, was it taken by Scholars and scribes? No! It was taken by Joshua and the men of Israel who took up arms and with G-d at their side battled the Canaanites and won the day! Who protected Israel during the time of King David? Was it the Scholars and Scribes? NO! King David was a warrior...a man the Tanach says G-d called a man after His own heart!

For Neturei Karta and the Satmar Hasidim to deny the legitimacy of the modern State of Israel and to take part in Iran’s Holocaust “conference” is not only anti-G-d, it is cowardly and their views of the Torah be damned.

Resettle the Haredi

It is being said that the Haredi are damaging the Jewish character of the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem. This is because the Haredi have large families and are moving into cramped quarters which are built upon the foundations of the buildings that the Temple priests lived in 2000 years ago. What is it that the Haredi are doing that is damaging these historical foundations?

They are building illegally and expanding the buildings to accommodate their families.

What is the solution? The Ministry of Interior wants to establish a “master plan” to expand homes and at the same time keep from causing more damage to archaeologically valuable things.

I think I have a better idea. These families keep wanting to live in Jerusalem, but by and large the Haredi do not even serve in the IDF. They, by and large, depend on the government for stipends because their men are constantly in Yeshivot and do not work. This means they are, for all intents and purposes, on government welfare.

It is time to stop coddling the Ultra-Orthodox communities.

As long as they live in Israel, they should have to live according to the rules set by the government for every other Israeli. Tell these people to stop their illegal construction which is hurting Jerusalem and if they do not stop, arrest them!

If they need room to live, the government would do well to remember that the municipal borders of Ma’ale Adummim were set in 1983 at 35 square kilometers. To this day, only 3.7 kilometers have been built upon. Here’s a hint...

Start building in Ma’ale Adummim again, and the rest of the world be damned. It’s Israeli land, do with it what you should! Relocate the Haredi from the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem to Ma’ale Adummim, Ariel or Gush Etzion, or one of dozens of other towns in Judea/Samaria.

Here’s a hint for the Haredi, why not get some Zionist bones in your bodies and settle the LAND Hashem gave to you? Jerusalem is already Jewish. And you must remember that you are not all priests. Get out of Jerusalem and DO something for Israel! Yes, the Torah is important but when G-d gave the Land of Canaan to the Hebrews, they certainly had to do more than keep their noses buried in Torah scrolls. They had to fight for that land, and it is no different today. That remains true even if the fight is merely political. Claim the land G-d gave to Israel and LIVE in it.

Baker's Peace Conference Sans Israel: Wake Up Israel!

James Baker is quite simply an idiot. Besides the fact that he is a well known anti-semite, he obviously thinks jumping in bed with the Iranians and Syrians is in America's best interest. Those people HATE America, and it has nothing to do with America's support of Israel.

I guess Baker would like America to begin falling under the flag of Islam the way Europe is. I wonder how many jihadists Baker would personally like to call friend. After all, they share a common hatred of Israel.

In any case, He wants to call a regional peace conference but make sure that Israel is un-invited. He wants the conference to be free of "Jewish pressure".

Is the sectarian violence in Iraq due to the Jews and their conflict with the 'Palestinians?' Are Syria and Iran both hotbeds of terrorist activity because of the Israeli-'Palestinian' conflict? I think not.

However, if this horrible situation goes through, if the U.S. begins holding peace talks with the idea of coming up with notions on how to pressure Israel to give up the Golan Heights Judea/Samaria and go back to its indefensible pre-1967 borders, then Israel MUST MUST MUST not only lodge official protests, but people like Ehud Olmert must find it within their wimpy selves to realize war is on the horizon. America will have become a stick which it would be unwise for Israel to lean on! America will truly have stabbed a good friend in the back.

This is a conserted effort by anti-Israel forces around the world to force Israel into their bidding. If Israel, obeys I can say with certainty it would be the end of the Jewish nation.

The current Israeli leadership must take a strong and irrevocable stand NOW. If they do not do so, Israelis must remove their government and establish new leaders who will protect Israel at all costs.

The time for talk is rapidly coming to an end. The rest of the world is about to talk, but they are ignoring the views and opinions of Jews everywhere and of Israel in particular. This is an existential danger which Israel now faces.

Some may think that I am being an alarmist, but these times bear the possibility of being more dangerous than Germany in the 1930's.

There MUST be action on the part of Israel's leaders. Before the world decides for Israel what her end will be.

The Pope: A Real Dhimmi

In light of the actions of Pope Benedict XVI in Istanbul, where he stood side by side with Mustafa Cagrici, the chief of religious affairs for Istanbul and prayed facing…not Jerusalem, where Jesus Christ was executed and Christians believe He rose again…but Mecca under the roof of the Blue Mosque, I would like to say:

So the “Vicar of Christ” wants to reconcile Christians with Muslims does he?

I really wonder what Jesus, an observant Jew for his time, would have thought of that? For Christians everywhere, I would tend to think what the Pope has done is really acted like a dhimmi. What he has done is capitulated to Muslim anger. What he has really done is cowed before Islamic rage. What he has really done proves to the Islamic community that their faith is superior to any other. What he has done is bowed to the Islamic Allah…a betrayal both of Jesus and of the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Because the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob…and yes, of Jesus, is not the god of Islam.

Although in modern day Arabic the word “Allah” means “God”, this was not always the case.

Islam has its roots in the pagan worship of the Arabian moon god. According to Robert A. Morey (A Christian scholar) Islam's origins have been traced back by scholars to the ancient fertility religion of the worship of the moon god which was always the dominant religion of Arabia. The moon god was worshipped by praying toward Mecca several times a day, making an annual pilgrimage to the Kabah which was a temple of the moon god, running around the Kabah seven times, caressing an idol of a black stone set in the wall of the Kabah, running between two hills, making animal sacrifices, gathering on Fridays for prayers, giving alms to the poor, etc.. These were pagan rites practiced by the Arabs long before Muhammad was born.

The Crescent Moon

What religion today practices the pagan rites of the moon god? Islam! This explains why the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam. It is placed on top of mosques and minarets and displayed on hats, flags, rugs, amulets and even jewelry. Every time you see the Muslim symbol of a crescent moon, you are seeing the ancient symbol of the moon god.

Somehow I doubt that Christians of any sect…including Catholics, or Jews worship an Arabian moon god. More than this, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob’s character is so vastly different from that of the Islamic Allah that the two absolutely cannot be the same.

The Bible says in Shemot (Exodus) 34:6-7 JPS version And HaShem passed by before him, and proclaimed: 'The HaShem, HaShem, G-d, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth;

keeping mercy unto the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and unto the fourth generation.

Whereas in the Qur’an, there are multiple verses such as:

[Sura 48.29] Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves…(But not to unbelievers)….

[ Sura 9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority.

Sheesh. Ummm…can anyone besides me see the difference between the two deities here?

The Pope’s original statements wherein he quoted 14th Century Christian emperor, Manuel II Paleologos of the Byzantine Empire. "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.” were dead on accurate in describing Islam in general both as a religion and as a culture.

So it made Muslims angry? So what? They need to check history. To quote a famous movie line:

“You want the truth? You can’t HANDLE the truth!”

That seems to be the case when it comes to Muslims’ refusal to face the reality of history and the reality of their own scriptures. There are constant (At least in the West) statements from Muslims about how their religion is really about peace.

Islam claims that Allah is the same God who was revealed in the Jewish and Christian Bible. . . . then if the Bible and the Qur'an have differing views of God, then Islam's claim is false. Don't forget that Muhammad claimed in Suras 2:87, 29:46, 32:23, 5:44, 6:154, 6:155 that Allah confirmed the Torah (Taurat) and Christian Gospel (Injeel) (Sura 2:87, 5:46, 5:68, 29:46 and 43:63). So, if the Torah and Gospel are correct, all contradictions to those scriptures the Qur’an itself says are true…are false.

A tenet of Islam is that both Mohammed and Jesus of Nazareth were both Muslims. Islam says both were prophets sent by Allah. If this were true, then it is mandatory that these two great prophets must coincide exactly in all points and never contradict each other. Did not the same Allah send both of them? Then, aren't even the smallest of contradictions between the two, very big red flags? And there are a great many.

Sura 5:68 - Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law (Torah), the Gospel (Injeel), and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord."

Sura 29:46 Muslims are told by Allah, not to question the authority of the scriptures of the Christians, saying, "And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one;

Islam says that Jesus did not die. So, again --Islam has proven to be false; because Muhammad claimed the Gospel is true, and all 4 Gospels (Injil) testify that Jesus died and rose from the dead. God does have a begotten Son (not made, but one with the Father), which Islam denies. The Jewish Torah / Taurat (Tawrat) was revealed by G-d over 1000 years before Muhammad and Islam. In addition, in terms of disparities between Christian sources and the Qur’an there are collateral 1st century sources that testify that Jesus was put to death. In the "Annals" written by Roman historian Tacitus, in Book XV, Chapter 44 we read "Christus, the founder of the name, was put to death by Pontius Pilate, procurator of Judea in the reign of Tiberius."

If I were a Christian I would be horrified, angered and disgusted with Pope Benedict…in fact, with all of Catholicism which seems to be seeking peace at all costs.

What the Pope has done is betray the Messiah he claims to serve, and the one true G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by following pagan prayer rites in praying toward Mecca.

To my Christian friends I would like to say; “I would remind you that there can be no fellowship between darkness and light.
